Recently, the Chinese Embassy in Canada once again updated the testing and isolation requirements for Chinese Canadians returning to the country.

2. For previously infected persons, including those who have been diagnosed or undiagnosed but have had a positive nucleic acid test, the self-health testing time has been adjusted from 4 weeks to 2 weeks.
3. The requirement to visit the embassy in person has been cancelled. According to the requirements for nucleic acid testing by designated institutions, the two nucleic acid tests should be separated by more than 24 hours, and should be completed at a testing institution recognized by the local health department and in the same consular district of the embassy or consulate in Canada. In order to optimize prevention and control measures and improve the level of scientific and precise prevention and control, Relevant domestic regulations , the current pre-departure testing requirements for all passengers taking flights from Canada to China are adjusted as follows:
1. Uninfected persons
includes all persons who have not been diagnosed and have not tested positive for nucleic acid tests:
① One nucleic acid test 2 days before boarding → ② Boarding One nucleic acid test in the previous day → ③ Apply for a green health code → ④ The airline will check the green health code. If you do not meet the requirements, you will not be able to board the flight.
2. Persons who have been infected in the past
include those who have been diagnosed and have not been diagnosed but have tested positive for nucleic acid. Positive person:
① 2 nucleic acid tests with a sampling interval of more than 24 hours → ② Self-health monitoring for 2 weeks → ③ 1 nucleic acid test 2 days before boarding → ④ 1 nucleic acid test 1 day before boarding → ⑤ Submit an application with all the above materials Green health code→⑥Airlines check the green health code. If you do not meet the requirements, you will not be able to board the plane.
3. Testing requirements
The two nucleic acid tests should be separated by more than 24 hours and must be completed at a testing institution recognized by the local health department and in the same consular district of the embassy or consulate in Canada. Rapid test kits cannot replace laboratory testing and sampling.
4. Other requirements
In order to ensure the health and safety of tourists traveling to China, we encourage self-closed-loop management and self-health monitoring 7 days before departure.
When applying for a green health code, you no longer need to submit a "New Crown Vaccination Declaration" and a valid residence certificate. To ensure a smooth trip, please apply for a green health code in advance as much as possible.

In addition to nucleic acid testing and other requirements, China has also recently announced a reduction in quarantine time. On June 28, the National Health Commission of China released the "Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Prevention and Control Plan (Ninth Edition)". The isolation and control time for close contacts and immigrants was changed from "14 days of centralized isolation medical observation + 7 days of home health care".
