Employment contract
Employment contract must be up to date and the contract should have a validity period of at least 3 months (unless proven previous experience). The contract must comply with the National Employment Standards (NES) and any rewards, business agreements or registration agreements that may apply.
Contract should contain:
• Start/end date
• Responsibility description/job description
• Salary/wage rate
• Related industrial documents, awards or agreements

•Work location
Wage, conditions and salary level of the local market
All jobs (including temporary jobs) must comply with the national employment standards in Australia, and the applicant's salary and benefits shall not be lower than the wages and benefits of local permanent residents of Australia and citizens holding the position. This includes wage levels consistent with the local market. It can be proved by:
• Reference industry rulings or enterprise agreement
• Market compensation survey data, such as Hays Salary guides or Payscale
• Recruitment advertisements for the same position in the same region within the past 6 months
• Salary survey completed by well-known organizations
• Written recommendations from trade unions or employers associations.
If the applicant fails to provide the corresponding supporting documents in the application, he will not be nominated by the Tasmanian government.
