On the morning of December 18, Peng Yihao, deputy secretary of the Shigatse Municipal Party Committee, executive deputy mayor, and leader of the tenth batch of Shanghai Aid Tibet Cadres Liaison Group, and his delegation went to Shigatse Municipal People's Hospital for investigation and guidance. They visited the medical staff working on the front line of epidemic prevention and control, and held a special symposium to gain a detailed understanding of the hospital's scale setting, staffing, development concepts, ward management, medical services , and future plans.
At the meeting, President Comrade Basang Tsering reported on the hospital’s history, medical treatment work and existing difficulties, and introduced in detail the hospital’s main work highlights, lack of experience and existing difficulties. Comrade Wang Qinghua, Secretary of the Party Committee, combined with the actual development of Shigatse Municipal People's Hospital and the investigation of the five assisted counties, reported on the Tibet aid project from improving high-quality medical service capabilities, conducting high-level clinical medical research, building a high-quality medical talent echelon, promoting high-efficiency regional medical cooperation, and establishing a high-standard hospital management mechanism. ml3 plans for the next three years of work, and said that through three years of scientific planning and targeted assistance, the Shanghai Aid to Tibet Medical Team has promoted the steady improvement of Shigatse Municipal People's Hospital's medical service capabilities, scientific research levels, talent team building, joint interactive development, management and support efficiency, etc., and built it into an autonomous region-level regional medical center with first-class comprehensive strength and leading multiple disciplines in the region.
Peng Yihao and his party conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges with members of the Municipal People's Hospital team and some department heads on the long-term development of the hospital, management methods and personnel care. Peng Yihao fully affirmed the various work carried out by the hospital, especially its outstanding contributions in epidemic prevention and control. He pointed out that we must insist on promoting the high-quality development of hospitals. Benchmark high-level hospital standards, identify existing problems and identify gaps, strive to make up for shortcomings, further strengthen the hospital's own construction, optimize the layout of medical resources, continue to improve comprehensive service capabilities, and continuously enhance patients' sense of gain from medical treatment. Second, we must increase the integration of Tibet medical teams and hospitals. Make full use of Shanghai's high-quality resources, focus on developing new projects and new technologies related to specialties, strengthen the promotion of national scientific research projects, create a high-level clinical research platform, aim at the development frontiers of medical disciplines and clinical specialties, cultivate a number of leading disciplines, develop a number of advantageous specialties, drive the improvement of the overall level of the hospital, and help promote the creation of high-level hospitals. Three needs to strengthen the construction of the talent team. Focus on urgently needed talents, carefully cultivate them, and promote pairing of teachers and apprentices to ensure that talents are recruited, retained, and put to good use, and provide strong talent support for the hospital's top-three A work and modern hospital management.
