On December 8, the Peng'an section of Shunpengying First-Class Highway in Nanchong, Sichuan, which was constructed by China Wuye Group, was officially opened to traffic and operated.
As a key transportation construction project in Nanchong City, the route is 24.2 kilometers long, including 1 super-large bridge, 12 large and medium bridges, and 3 tunnels, with a total construction cost of 1.734 billion yuan. The project spans 46 townships in Peng'an County, Peng'an County, and connects to the main urban area of Nanchong City from Linjiang New District, Nanchong City.
It is reported that in order to overcome many difficulties such as long project lines, many intersections with existing roads, and extremely difficult construction organization, the project department has brainstormed and adapted to local conditions, and proposed targeted solutions. After sorting and summarizing, it has applied for 2 provincial and ministerial-level construction methods, 13 patents, 41 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological achievements appraisal, 1 provincial and ministerial-level BIM achievement, and 1 national-level QC achievement. At the same time, facing construction problems such as high roadbed filling, deep excavation, many soft foundations, and low tunnel surrounding rock levels, Wuye people have always adhered to the determination to overcome difficulties, made solid progress, and dared to strive, and finally successfully completed the phased training goals proposed by the Peng'an County Party Committee and County Government, the goals and overall progress goals of early delivery and inspection of urban sections and the overall progress goals.
As an important people's livelihood project, the project will greatly improve the local traffic status after it is opened to traffic, and will also greatly shorten the distance between Peng'an County and the main urban area of Nanchong City, playing a crucial role in Peng'an County's comprehensive integration into the "half-hour economic circle" of Nanchong and the Chengdu-Chongqing "two-hour economic circle".
