We can say that these countries who are willing to join are to further integrate into the world and promote their own development. It can also be said that their willingness to join is to help China and Russia fight against hegemony.
Although the BRICS countries have no intention of competing with the US-led G7, this will surely be a challenge to the global governance system under the US-led leadership. So from the American perspective, they have long regarded the BRICS as a hostile camp. One country after another has already made the United States feel in crisis.
Americans have realized a very cruel fact: the BRICS expansion, the United States is excluded. Algeria, which has recently applied to join, has been regarded as one of the alternatives for the EU to get rid of its dependence on Russia's energy. But from the moment Algeria applied to join the BRICS, the United States and Europe should have completely lost this heart.
