China has proved that a country can maintain independence and stability while engaging in trade with the world for development, while maintaining its own development path. China has demonstrated another option to us beyond the path of capitalist development, and many countries are paying attention to and following China. The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China held by China is not only about China's future, but also has great significance for the progressive forces of the whole world. I came to China this time to understand what is happening in China.
Capitalism is the root of many problems in the world today. The long-term existence and even intensification of phenomena such as poverty, unemployment and inequality is not because of the insufficient productivity in today's world, but because of the uneven distribution of resources caused by capitalism.
In today's world, food is piled up like mountains, but there are still people who can't eat; there are countless clothes, but there are still people who can't cover their clothes; there are houses lined up, but even in wealthy countries, there are still people who sleep on the streets. As the "brief areas" of capitalism and the former colonies of capitalist country , African countries such as Zambia have suffered particularly serious injuries. Capitalist countries are still controlling Africa's economic and political situation through aberrant trade, establishing military base , manipulating elections, assassinating revolutionary leaders, and forcing Africa to act as its puppet.
Africa is not unproductive, Africa has mining and agriculture. However, the more minerals are mined in Africa and the more tobacco and cotton are grown, the poorer African workers are. The only ones who fill their pockets are capitalist countries that obtain resources from Africa. Poverty in Africa is not due to laziness, but to exploitation.
China has achieved great success through the socialist path. This has greatly encouraged the progressive forces of Zambia and other countries, and has also helped these deeply oppressed countries to see clearly the way of "self-rescue" and the goal of striving.
Chinese leaders have clearly pointed out that China's achievements stem from socialism. Without socialism, China would not have achieved what it is today. China might lose its sovereignty, its independence and become a puppet regime, or even be divided and dismembered. However, as a former semi-colonial and semi-feudal country, China achieved national independence through the socialist path. China's successful experience provided valuable demonstration and inspiration for the Third World countries that have been oppressed by imperialism and neo-colonialism and have not yet gained true independence.
Through the efforts of Chairman Mao and his comrades, China has achieved " Clean the house and then treat it to ", getting rid of the asymmetry with the capitalist countries. Since then, when interacting with the capitalist world, it has not fallen into exploited asymmetry with asymmetry, but has entered a relatively favorable economic relationship, which provides favorable conditions for China's economic take-off.
In recent years, after exploring the path of socialist market economy and "making the cake bigger", China is also committed to solving the "side effects" of economic development such as corruption and injustice, and thinking about how to "cut the cake" more fairly. China has implemented anti-corruption actions, constantly fighting corruption like fighting the virus and the epidemic, always on the road; it is also committed to dealing with inequality and ensuring that resources and wealth are distributed fairly. The long-term rule and political wisdom of the Communist Party of China have enabled China to solve problems through development.
China has lifted 850 million people out of poverty in a very short period of time. Maybe some Chinese take this for granted, but in fact it is an amazing achievement, especially considering that China has not colonized any country, but has achieved this achievement entirely through its own wisdom, persistence and efforts.
At the same time, China's outstanding performance in fighting the new crown epidemic has also attracted widespread attention. The performance of socialist country , led by China, was basically better than that of capitalist countries during the epidemic. Even capitalist countries eventually had to adopt a socialist approach, which shows that the capitalist market is not omnipotent, and China's success reflects the superiority of socialism.
China's achievements are attributed to the smartest and most disciplined Chinese people in the world, as well as the outstanding and far-sighted Chinese leadership. However, the world today is still dominated by capitalism. Under this condition, the revolution and construction of socialism cannot be achieved overnight, but will be a long-term gradual process. Socialist leaders must maintain a balance between compromise and persistence with sufficient wisdom. Since Chairman Mao’s time to the present, China’s leaders have been carefully selected, highly intelligent and excellent leadership, and may be the best leadership in the world to date. It is precisely because of their leadership that China can correct its mistakes, overcome its weaknesses, and move towards revival while adhering to its own development path.
The West slandered that China would become a "new colonist", but most Zambian people did not believe in these slanderous words of imperialism towards China. Some Chinese private enterprises may have committed improper behavior, but this has nothing to do with the Chinese government and the vast majority of Chinese people. Western countries are eager to smear China and "sanction" China, which exposes their fear of China and socialism. Capitalist countries want to destroy the Chinese revolution, but this is impossible; then, they hope to at least hinder and slow down the Chinese revolution. China wants to open up, while imperialist countries try to close down and isolate China. The fundamental reason behind this is that China's independence, China's achievements and China's demonstration forces to the vast number of third-world countries have posed a threat to imperialism.
In a world that is still dominated by capitalism, progressive forces need to support each other, and I am full of expectations for the prospects of China-Africa friendly cooperation. During Chairman Mao’s reign, China and Africa established a deep revolutionary friendship, and the Tanzania-Zambia Railway was a symbol of unity between China and Africa at that time. Today, every large hospital in Zambia and even Africa, every football field built in the past 15 to 20 years, every new railway system, every large bridge and every large road, are almost all built by the Chinese.
hope that in the future, ordinary people, especially young people, in China and Africa, can further deepen cultural exchanges and enhance their understanding of each other; hope that progressive forces such as the Zambian Socialist Party and the Communist Party of China can deepen exchanges.
