On the morning of October 11, the Municipal CPPCC held a consultation meeting on the handling of key proposals at the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology to communicate and negotiate on the handling of the "Suggestions on Building a High-Quality Large Industrial Cluster in Guangdong Province (Zhaoqing)" (Proposal No. 016 of 2022). Li Qin, Vice Chairman of the Municipal CPPCC, and responsible persons of the Municipal CPPCC Economic and Science and Technology Committee, proposers and relevant responsible persons of the proposal organizer attended the meeting. The Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the organizer of the proposal, introduced the progress of the handling of proposal No. 016 of the Municipal CPPCC in 2022. The responsible person of the Economic and Science and Technology Committee of the Municipal CPPCC and the proposer Xie Chunyuan respectively put forward opinions and suggestions on further improving the handling of the proposal.
Li Qin fully affirmed the phased achievements in the handling of the proposal. She pointed out that Proposal No. 016 was listed as one of the key proposals of the Municipal CPPCC this year, supervised by Xu Xiaoxiong, mayor of the Municipal CPPCC, supervised by Huang Zhongxing, and deputy mayor of the Municipal Government, led by Liu Jingbo, deputy mayor of the Municipal Government, attached great importance to it, reflecting the importance and necessity of handling the proposal; she hopes that the proposal organizers should further improve their ideological understanding and sense of responsibility and mission in handling the proposal, thoroughly implement the work of accelerating the high-quality development of manufacturing, and mobilize the whole city to build a large industrial cluster in Guangdong Province (Zhaoqing) to strengthen communication and contact between the personnel of the two parties, implement all work on proposal handling, effectively change the work style, handle the proposal well, and do practical things well. Through the handling of this proposal, we will vigorously promote the construction of large-scale cluster areas in our city, and contribute to the accelerated construction of new cities in Zhaoqing, truly integrating the Pearl River into the Bay, and the accelerated construction of the western growth pole of the core area of the Pearl River Delta and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the modern new urban area of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
