After visiting, it was found that Taishan City has basically fully implemented the investigation and listing of ancient trees and famous trees, but in daily maintenance and management, there are also adverse factors that affect the growth of ancient trees and famous trees, such as excessive non-permeable hardening, poor surrounding environment, and serious pests and diseases.
Recently, the Taishan Municipal Procuratorate organized a roundtable meeting on the protection of ancient trees and famous trees and invited representatives from the Municipal Forestry Bureau, Municipal Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau, 17 towns (streets) and experts from the protection of ancient trees and famous trees to participate in the meeting, and jointly studied and discussed how to do a good job in protecting ancient trees and famous trees in the city, and painted the largest concentric circle of ancient trees and famous trees and protected them.
