On October 9, Zhao Ronggui, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, led the inspection team of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress to our district to carry out the inspection and interview activities for environmental protection rivers in 2022. Zhao Ronggui pointed out that all localities and levels should improve their political stance, deepen their ideological awareness, and effectively enhance their sense of responsibility and urgency in doing a good job in the comprehensive management of mine repairs. We must compare work requirements and standards, check for omissions and gaps, learn from one example and make up for shortcomings, and ensure that all subsequent restoration work is completed with high quality. All relevant units should strengthen leadership, implement responsibilities in place, actively create an atmosphere, widely publicize knowledge on water quality protection of reservoirs, and mobilize the majority of cadres and the masses to actively participate in the rectification activities; strictly control poultry and livestock breeding around the reservoir, eliminate direct discharge of sewage into the reservoir, effectively strengthen supervision and water quality testing, and comprehensively prevent water quality pollution; scientific planning, treat both the symptoms and the root causes, and resolutely implement rectification and restoration for some existing problems, continuously promote the improvement of the reservoir water environment quality, and comprehensively promote the construction of rural ecological civilization.
