Health Canada released a major news on September 26, announcing that all COVID-19 entry restrictions will be lifted starting from October 1, 2022, and the testing, quarantine and isolation requirements for any passenger entering Canada will be cancelled.
This means that the COVID-19 emergency border measures will be over after about two and a half years of implementation, which greatly facilitates travelers to Canada and allows all travelers entering Canada to enter Canada as easily as before the epidemic.

Starting from October 1, 2022, all passengers, regardless of nationality, no longer need:
submits public health information on the ArriveCAN application or website;
provides vaccination certificate;
receives test before/on arrival;
undergoes quarantine/isolation related to COVID-19;
monitors and reports on whether there are signs/symptoms of COVID-19 after arriving in Canada.
The Canadian Ministry of Transport will also cancel the current travel requirements at that time. Starting from October 1, 2022, passengers will no longer need:

However, the Canadian government also reminds passengers not to travel if they find themselves with symptoms of COVID-19.
If a passenger is sick during the journey and is still ill when arriving in Canada, he or she should notify the flight attendant, cruise staff or border service officer upon arrival.

Major Message
Travelers must comply with COVID-19 requirements in each province/region of Canada (if applicable). Foreign citizens must still comply with the entry requirements set out in Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and provide appropriate travel and immigration documents if necessary.
Airlines will no longer require verification before boarding the plane whether passengers have entered information in ArriveCAN.
Starting from October 1, 2022, passengers entering Canada within 14 days before October 1, 2022 will not have to complete the remaining quarantine or complete the testing requirements.
Although passengers no longer need to provide quarantine and vaccination information through ArriveCAN, they can continue to use the optional early declaration function of the free ArriveCAN and submit customs and immigration declaration forms before arrival, which can save customs clearance time after arriving at the airport.
This declaration function is currently applicable to passengers arriving at Vancouver International Airport , Toronto Pearson International Airport or Montreal-Trudeo International Airport , and will also expand to Calgary , Edmonton , Winnipeg and other international airports in the next few months.Early data shows that ArriveCAN's CBSA early declaration function can enable passengers to speed up about one-third of the speed when using self-service pass-off, and more than 30% of passengers are using this function.
Finally, I would like to remind everyone that if symptoms of COVID-19 occur, you should not travel.
If you feel uncomfortable during your trip or still feel uncomfortable when you arrive in Canada, you need to notify the flight attendant/cruising staff or inform the border officials on entry.
Since the coronavirus is still listed as an infectious disease in the Quarantine Act, quarantine officers may be required to decide whether further medical evaluation is required.
