Friends, come on!

core tip┃ The song of my hometown is a clear and distant flute that always sounds on the night when there is a moon; the appearance of my hometown is a vague melancholy, like a wave of separation in the fog... A song "Homesickness" by the poet Xi Murong expresses the deep affection and vicissitudes.

Many people say that with the development of the city, children in modern cities have no homesickness. On May 20, a young reporter from Dahe Daily came to the "Quyuan" of the Central School of the Baqian Office of Zhengzhou Airport Port Area to understand folk customs and feel homesickness. Quyuan is located in Junzhao Primary School, the central school of the 8,000 Office, Zhengzhou Airport. It is a social practice base for primary and secondary school students integrating folk visits and experiences. One afternoon, the city kid who grew up with electronic products fell in love with the "old folk customs".

Surprise

Bell box, wooden saw, stable Little reporter found out that the "New World"

Happy swing, I want to fly higher!

"Is this the bellows? When I came, my mother told me specifically." In the Quyuan Township Flavor Hall, the young reporter Ye Ziqing was very excited when he saw the bellows.

Introduction The bellows are composed of wooden boxes, push and pull handles and movable wooden boxes, which were the "standard configuration" of rural kitchens in the past. "I know! Mom said she used it before." Ye Ziqing said while applying for operation of the bellows. Under the guidance of the tour guide, he pulled the bellows and felt the wind. He was very excited, "Wow! It's amazing! Take a photo, I'm going to pass it to my mother!"

old camera, it turns out that it looks like this.

reporter learned that there are 8 theme exhibition halls in the Quyuan, mostly displaying old objects from the 1950s and 1960s. The Township History Museum is themed on the changes in Zhengzhou Airport Port Area; the Township Flavor Hall displays kitchen utensils from the 1950s and 1960s, such as stoves, noodle scoops, etc.; the Township Flavor Hall displays agricultural tools such as wooden shovels and rakes; the Township Flavor Hall displays games with old games with "hopscotch" and marbles; the Township Flavor Hall displays the characteristics of the past folk houses; the Township Flavor Hall displays the study; the Township Flavor Hall displays old-fashioned looms and spinning wheels; the Township Flavor Hall displays open-air curtain movies and old cameras.

Except for Ye Ziqing, all the young reporters were curious about these "old objects" that day, as if they discovered the "new world" and asked questions constantly, "What is this? It looks so strange." A young reporter asked, "This is saw , used to saw wood." The tour guide "revealed the secret". In order to make the children's understanding more intuitive, the tour guide explained again that in the cartoon " Bears appearing in ", bald strong uses a chainsaw, but the saws in the past were manual. In a simple and easy-to-understand manner, such an explanation made the young reporters suddenly realize it.

In another exhibition hall, the stable attracted the attention of young reporters. "What is this for?" the young reporter asked again. According to the tour guide, this is a stable, also called a horse shed, a place to raise horses. There are also "supporting facilities" such as mangers and , horse lanterns, and guillotines. "I know that a manger is the place where horses 'eat', and a guillotine is the place where grass is cut, which is the horse's 'kitchen'." A young reporter's metaphor was accurate and interesting, which made everyone laugh at once.

Harvest

Pushing stone mill, pressing wells, and spinning wheels. Children "get" new skills

This water is really cool

Learn new knowledge and "get" new skills. On that day, facing the old objects, the young reporters were eager to try.

Before the old stone mill, young reporter An Yanyu and another child were the first to grab the "experience right". At first, An Yanyu used a lot of energy, but the stone grind did not move at all. "Straighten the rope and hold the stick in your hand to the end, don't be too close." The tour guide hurriedly.

With the trick, An Yanyu was as helpful as a god. Finally pulled the millstone, and the two of them cheered and excited. Children Xu Zihang were not willing to be outdone and expressed that they would complete it independently. I followed the key points taught by the tour guide, and the little guy was strong. Under his operation, the stone millstone turned and the friends applauded him.

I can push the stone mill

The tour guide did not forget to add that the push stone mill actually uses the principle of leverage. The further the distance between the stick and the millstone, the more effort it is. "These are the wisdom of the working people, and you will learn the specific knowledge principles in the future."

Quyuan Kong Kong area is even more popular. The tour guide demonstrated: Pour a bowl of water and actually lead to a steady stream of water. This made the young reporters dumbfounded and started the "jump-to-try" mode again.

But, it looks simple, the little guys can't squeeze out the water. The tour guide once again taught the key points of the movement and reminded everyone to hold the end of the handle to prevent hitting other children.

is not difficult to learn. Sure enough, according to the correct method, a stream of clear water surged up. The young reporters cheered and everyone picked up water with their hands and washed their faces to feel the coolness of the well water.

On the same day, the young reporters also learned how to use spinning wheels, looms and wheel wells, and gained a lot.

Finally worked

Collection of old objects, school leaders and teachers have visited more than 20 villages

Why do you want to build this fun garden with the theme of old folk customs? Many young reporters asked questions.

According to Liu Jianjun, principal of the Central School of the Eight Thousand Office of Zhengzhou Airport Port Area, Zhengzhou Airport Port Area has developed rapidly in recent years, but with the progress of urbanization, many old villages have also disappeared. In order to keep children from their original aspirations and keep their "homesickness", at the end of 2016, the Central School of the Baqian Office decided to build an exhibition hall so that children now and in the future can feel the homesickness and experience folk customs.

Quyuan location - Liu Hongxue, principal of Jun Zhao Primary School, Central School of the Eight Thousand Office of Zhengzhou Airport Port Area, told reporters that at first, when the teachers heard this idea, they all felt very emotional. But some people questioned: other schools are promoting high technology, showing folk customs and retaining homesickness. Isn’t this "going backwards"? However, as the understanding deepens, teachers realize that many folk customs have gradually moved away and become more precious, and they truly realize the significance of this work.

In order to build the Quyuan, Junzhao Primary School renovated several old houses. On weekends and holidays, Liu Jianjun and Liu Hongxue led the teachers to visit nearby villages and freakfast markets to collect old items. They have traveled to more than twenty villages, and the farthest one has been to Changge and Weishi. Some teachers also "contribute" the old coins, old food coupons, rakes and other things at home.

"There have also been many things that make people laugh and cry." Liu Hongxue said that, for example, some villagers' old millstones have long been abandoned, but when the teacher said he wanted to collect them at a low price, the villagers immediately became alert: Are they a liar? Is this millstone an antique? In this regard, teachers always explain the purpose of these old objects with great sincerity. What is touching is that after hearing this, most of the villagers expressed their support and even gave it for free. Today, there are more than 200 display items in the Quyuan.

"We will register every old object. Any corner of Quyuan is the feelings of the villagers for their hometown." Liu Jianjun said that he hopes that through this work, modern children can know where their "roots" are and go further. "A person can only know where they are from."
