At around 12:00 on May 18, the Second Detachment of the Traffic Police Corps of the Provincial Public Security Department received a report that a rear-end collision occurred at 663 kilometers of the Zhengdong New Section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, and some people were injured.
At the scene, two vehicles that caused the accident had moved to the emergency lane. The rear vehicle was a light pickup truck. The front windshield was hit into a "spider web". A middle-aged man squatted by the road in pain, holding his head with his hands, and his face was bleeding.
After inquiry, it was learned that the injured man was named Jiang. He was sitting in the passenger seat of the pickup truck at the time of the incident. He felt that wearing a seat belt was too restricted. In order to be comfortable, he bypassed the seat belt from behind his body and had an accident with the car in front when he drove to the new section of Zhengdong. Due to the large inertia and strong impact, Jiang, who did not wear a seat belt, hit the front windshield heavily on the front windshield. Fortunately, the car was slow at the time and there was no serious consequence. However, he gave Jiang, the passenger on the passenger seat, a "bloody safety class."

Wang died in the accident and another passenger was injured.
After the highway traffic police investigated, the speed limit of this section was 80km/h, while Wang's driving speed was between 93km/h and 97km/h. Wang did not wear a seat belt and was thrown out of the cab during the accident and died on the spot.

According to Article 51 of the Road Traffic Safety Law, when a motor vehicle is driving, the driver and passengers shall use seat belts as required.
1. If the driver fails to use the seat belt as required when driving on the highway, he will be fined 200 yuan and 2 points will be deducted in accordance with the law.
2. If the passenger fails to use the seat belt as required when driving a motor vehicle, he/she will be fined 5-50 yuan in accordance with the law.
