China Overseas Chinese Network, February 28 According to the WeChat official account of the Chinese Embassy in Mexico, recently, some criminals posted false information on the WeChat platform that can handle Chinese visas and provided pictures of the so-called "visa" (see the picture below). It can be seen that the relevant "visa" is obviously forged or altered.

Article 320 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that those who provide forged or altered passports, visas and other entry and exit documents to others, or sell passports, visas and other entry and exit documents shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years and shall be fined; if the circumstances are serious, they shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years and shall be fined.
Article 71 of the "Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China" stipulates that if any of the following acts is committed, a fine of not less than RMB 1,000 and not more than RMB 5,000 will be imposed; if the circumstances are serious, a fine of not less than RMB 2,000 and not more than RMB 10,000 may be imposed:
(1) Exiting the country with forged, altered or defrauded exit documents;
(2) Exiting the country with impersonating other people's exit and entry documents;
(3) evading border inspection of exit and entry;
(4) illegally entering the country by other means.
The Embassy in Mexico solemnly reminded that it is illegal to provide, sell and use a forged Chinese visa. Please be vigilant in Mexico and do not be lucky enough to buy or use a forged visa in vain. All legal responsibilities and economic losses caused by the above-mentioned acts shall be borne by the parties themselves.
