Recently, the Chinese Navy has conducted military exercises in our waters and the Sea of Japan. The most eye-catching thing is that the aircraft carrier Liaoning took off and landed in the Sea of Japan. The Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force drove the frigate to get close to watch. Official statistics from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force show that the Liaoning ship, carrier-based aircraft, and ship-based helicopters took off and landed a total of 130 sorties in four days. The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's DD-104 "Kirisame" frigate was watching and guarding.
In fact, the main purpose of our country's navy to conduct exercises in four waters of the Sea of Japan is to beat Japan and give the United States a warning. Some time ago, the defense ministers of the United States and Australia visited Japan. After the three parties held secret talks on military cooperation, the United States and Australia also planned to invite Japan to join the "Ocus Agreement". Although the Japanese official did not give a clear answer, Japanese media said that many officials in the Japanese government are very interested in joining Orcus. This is undoubtedly a provocation to China. If Japan joins ORCUS, it means that the Asia-Pacific version of and NATO will take shape, and Japan will become the bridgehead for the United States to contain China's development. This exercise of our navy is also showing China's attitude towards this matter. China has the ability to suppress Japan's desire to jump. Of course, a lot of naval equipment was also used in this exercise, including the J-15 carrier-based fighter , the Kongjing-500H carrier-based early warning aircraft, the Z-9S carrier-based service aircraft, the Z-18 carrier-based early warning helicopter and the Z-8C carrier-based transport helicopter.
The J-15 "Flying Shark" is my country's first carrier-based fighter. It is also my country's fourth-generation heavy-duty single/two-seat carrier-based fighter. J-15 has three derivative models: J-15S, J-15D, and J-15T. The J-15 carrier-based aircraft has a length of 22m, a wingspan of 15m, and a width of 7.4m after the wings are folded. It has a maximum takeoff weight of 30 tons. It is powered by two turbofan-10A engines and has a combat radius of up to 1,500km. In addition, the J-15 has 12 weapon hardpoints and can carry 6.5 tons of ammunition. It also has a GSH-30-1 cannon with 150 rounds of conventional ammunition. Currently, the Liaoning's 224 carrier-based aircraft positions are fully staffed, and the Shandong ship's 26 carrier-based aircraft positions are also fully staffed. The J-15 integrates the technology of and J-11B, and is equipped with canards and folding wings. The landing gear has high strength. The J-15T is specially built for electromagnetic ejection and take-off.
Because my country's 003 "Fujian" aircraft carrier will adopt electromagnetic catapult take-off, the J-15T came into being. The J-15T adopts a new type of nose landing gear to ensure it can adapt to the electromagnetic ejection method. In addition, the J-15T's wingtip pylons have also been changed from the original inverted L shape to a straight shape, and are expected to carry the new PL-10 air-to-air missile. The infrared search in front of the J-15T cockpit and the leading edge wing have also changed, which also shows that the J-15T's avionics system will be improved. Some foreign experts believe that the J-15T has also been equipped with a more advanced active electronically scanned array radar, which can effectively reduce the weight of the fuselage and make it easier to carry more ammunition. Therefore, the J-15T is currently the flagship carrier-based aircraft in mass production and service in my country. In addition, when my country's WS-15 "Emei" engine test and joint production comes off the production line, then the J-15 will be replaced with WS-15, which will definitely lead to another major enhancement.
It is worth mentioning that the "Kirisame" frigate was a live audience in this People's Liberation Army exercise. This frigate is the second generation "Murasame" frigate of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. Compared with the first generation Asagiri type, the Murasame type is larger. It was originally planned to serve 14 ships, but due to the high-wave frigates, production was reduced to 9 ships. The main weapon systems of the Murasame type include ESSM sea-to-air missiles, ASROC anti-submarine fish, SSM1B anti-ship missiles, two 20mm close-in defense guns and a 76mm naval gun. The Murasame type has a displacement of about 4,500 tons, a total length of 151m, and a width of 17.5m. Its body is similar to that of our Navy's 054A guided missile destroyer, but it is still slightly inferior to the 054A in terms of radar and detection level. The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force has already put into service five improved Murasame-type frigates , also known as the high-wave type, which have been upgraded in terms of reconnaissance and electromechanical capabilities.
Having said that, our country’s navy’s military exercises in the Sea of Japan are just right.In order to curb China's development, the United States continues to stir up troubles in the Asia-Pacific region. Whether it is the South China Sea or the Taiwan Strait, the US Pacific Fleet can almost be seen. This exercise is a counterattack against the so-called "circular encirclement" of the United States. It is also a reminder to Japan that being used as a weapon by the United States naturally comes with a price. Of course, the intensity of 130 takeoffs and landings in four days also shows the maturity of our navy's aircraft carrier combat system. Even if a war breaks out, I believe our navy can handle it calmly and without any disadvantage.
