In many people's impression, compared with traditional manned aircraft, drone is small in size, short range and slow in flight. It is logically easy to be shot down, but in fact it is not. It is very difficult to face drones. What's going on?

But drones have proved their value in many wars and local conflicts. For example, in this Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the Iranian drone appeared on the battlefield and gave the Ukrainians a great headache. This kind of drone uses a large number of civilian standard parts and the cost is controlled at around 20,000 US dollars. However, it adopts a flying wing layout and a huge range. The warhead with a warhead of about 50kg carries out suicide attacks. If you don’t intercept, it will cause huge losses once you hit an important target, but if you intercept, this kind of drone is only 20,000 US dollars per, but the price of a "stinger" portable air defense missile is more expensive than this drone. In addition, Ukraine relies entirely on US aid, so this kind of drone has a headache for the Ukrainians.

So professional matters must be left to professional weapons, and drones must be guarded against. The Institute of the Second Academy of the Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation stated that the new generation of photoelectric radar they developed has the ability to work around the air targets all-weather. More than 20 targets can be measured at medium and long distances of 500 meters to 18 kilometers per second, and has unique advantages in detecting large numbers of low-altitude weak targets such as drone cluster attacks. It can achieve early detection, accurate tracking of drone's "low, slow, and small" targets, and clear identification of cluster targets.

Not long ago, the Taiwan military just stated that its self-developed first "Jianxiang" drone attack system was delivered at the end of October. Originally, , Taiwan also had high hopes for this drone. The first "Jianxiang" system is currently deployed in a high position in the northern seaside, and used as a task to attack large amphibious command ships on the enemy's sea surface in the "anti-login" stage. To put it bluntly, it is the 071 dock landing ship or the 075 amphibious assault ship targeting the People's Liberation Army. Unlike other suicide drones, the "Jianxiang" drone is similar to the anti-radiation missile , which is mainly used to paralyze the target's radar system.
