On December 21, 490 pigs were quarantined for a pig farm in Pizhuang Village Committee, Baicheng Street.
After receiving the quarantine declaration from the breeder, Baicheng Agricultural Comprehensive Law Enforcement Squadron immediately assigned two official veterinarians to the scene to quarantine according to the quarantine procedures of the place of origin, focusing on clinical health examinations and on-site quarantine for the pigs to be sold, and at the same time checking the immunization records, checking the number of pigs, filling in the quarantine work records of the place of origin, etc.
After on-site inspection, the 490 pigs slaughtered in the farm were immunized according to the procedures, with production records standardized, comply with animal epidemic prevention requirements, and pigs were checked for health and met the slaughter standards. Through solid quarantine work in the place of origin, the health of externally transferred pigs and the quality and safety of livestock products are ensured.
