MORGON red wine ranks among the top in ten thin wine-grade villages, regardless of planting or popularity, and its vineyards are mainly distributed in the village of vilie-Morgon. The highest point in the area is the 300-meter Mont du Py, and the most detailed Mogang wine production area is distributed on the hillside. The slope surface is covered with a thin layer of fragile rock rich in magnesium, iron oxide and sulfide minerals. This special soil produced by rapid weathering of this rock is called "corrupt soil" by locals.
The wines made of grapes in this soil are closely structured, full of cherry and apricot and peach fruit aromas, and can even age until twenty years. Other red wines made from flat grapes have a relatively similar quality to ordinary Polyjiu Lai wine.
