This is the first of a series of six smart container ships in Hudong Zhonghua, and the first ship to pass the China Classification Society's entire ship network security assessment. It is of milestone significance in the development of smart ships.

The main performance indicators and green environmental protection level have reached the world-class level. He was awarded the additional logo of the Chinese Classification Society i-ship (N, M, E, I).

"COSCO Shipping Lotus" is the first of a series of six 13500TEU smart container ships built by Hudong Zhonghua. During the construction process, the "COSCO Shipping Lotus" adopted the most advanced construction and inspection technology. For example, for the first time, the hull structure construction monitoring technology of China Classification Society was adopted in super-large container ships, and the high-stress thick plate areas of the ship were carefully carved. Through the application of the latest TOFD-PAUT non-destructive testing technology, the application of a series of new technologies has greatly improved the construction accuracy and ship construction quality, effectively increasing the operating life of the ship.
