This morning, the official account of Nanjing East Road Street issued an epidemic prevention and control notice: In order to further strengthen the epidemic prevention and control measures in Nanjing East Road Street and ensure the health and life safety of the people, two rounds of nucleic acid testing are now scheduled to be carried out from 0:00 on March 16, 2022 to 24:00 on March 17 (Thursday).
At 11:00 a.m., the reporter came to the nucleic acid testing site in Dingxing residential area. Many residents were queuing up to wait for samples. During the queue, a volunteer team composed of neighborhood committee cadres, residents, public security police, etc. provided guidance and consultation on the spot. The most important requirement was to help residents generate nucleic acid testing registration codes.

It is understood that the number of residents in Dingxing residential area exceeds 2,000. However, because the residential buildings are relatively concentrated, a unified nucleic acid testing point has been set up, with two registration stations and 5 sampling stations, and nucleic acid testing can be carried out for 5 residents. With the help of volunteers from all sides, many residents successfully generated nucleic acid testing registration codes through the Health Cloud, thus completing the first round of testing. In one morning, Dingxing Residential Area completed sampling work for about 1,100 residents.

During the nucleic acid test, some residents spontaneously asked to join the volunteer team. In addition to neighborhood committee cadres and street center staff, the number of volunteers has reached 20.

According to the "Epidemic Notice" issued by Nanjing East Road Street, residents of the community will complete two rounds of nucleic acid testing today and tomorrow, and each residential community will promptly lift the closed management based on the nucleic acid testing results.
