The project involves two sections of the river, with a total length of 3.25 kilometers of river channels. At present, the top ten theme landscapes are being built on both sides of the river, "Ten Scenery of Yuanfeng", making it a new business card for the inland river in Fuzhou University Town.
"Ten Scenery of Yuanfeng" includes Luohua Creek, Qianyuanji, Caochangpo, Xiangsi Bay, Ranshengjing, Fuliudi, Chiziqu, Yuanfengshe, Hongmao Valley, and Yuedonglan. Among them, Acacia Bay attractions have designed various landscape sketches such as heart-shaped lawns, heart-shaped gallery flower ponds, and will plant thousands of square meters of pink grass to create a romantic atmosphere. Yuedong Gallery will bring together various fitness equipment. Chiziqu will set up two playgrounds, one of which is a "river adventure park" composed of river beaches and islands, and the other is a natural and interesting adventure site "Jungle Travels".
A cultural relics protection building - Yuanfeng Sanjing House, is preserved in the "Ten Scenery of Yuanfeng" as a cultural memory point of Yuanfeng River. This place will be upgraded to a center for concentrated display of culture and creativity, and will use paper cutting and traditional sculpture to display the culture of Mindu. The surrounding squares are for citizens to rest, and can also be used as the venue for weekend markets and night markets.
The grass-long slope and Red Maple Valley in the upper reaches of Yuanfeng River will plant landscape plants with rich levels. Such as yellow long-sequencing wolftail grass, golden-leaf moss grass, purple-spiked wolftail grass, blue fescue, and red American red maple and metasequoia.
It is understood that the "Ten Scenery of Yuanfeng" will be connected by trails, runways and cycling trails, forming a three-line tour path system of "walking, running, and riding". The construction of Yuanfeng River landscape will be completed in the first half of next year and will be officially opened to the public.
