China's seismic belt is mainly distributed in five regions
Qingdao Plateau earthquake zone:
This earthquake zone is the largest earthquake zone in my country, and it is also the area with the strongest earthquake activity and frequent major earthquakes, ranking first in the country. It involves all or part of Qinghai, Tibet, Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia, Sichuan, and Yunnan.

Taiwan earthquake zone:
is located in the Pacific Rim seismic belt, at the junction of the Eurasian continental plate and the Philippines plate. Earthquakes occur frequently in the eastern region, and because they mostly occur in the outer seas, they cause relatively few disasters. Although earthquakes in the western region are not as frequent as those in the eastern region, their earthquake sources are shallow and mostly occur on land, and they are densely populated and destructive.
South China earthquake zone:
There were magnitude 68.0 earthquakes in Fujian in 1604 and magnitude 7.5 earthquakes in Qiongshan, Guangdong in 1605. But in the past 300 years since then, no significant destructive earthquake occurred.
