Hon Hai (2317) employees have a particularly long Spring Festival holiday this year, including a total of 9 days on weekends, and 2 days of vacations have been adjusted from last year's make-up leave, making Hon Hai employees' Spring Festival holiday different from other companies' employees. However, they also started working officially today (5th) but because today is not the auspicious day for the start-up ceremony on the farmer calendar, the start-up ceremony is expected to be held on the morning of the tenth day of the lunar month (6th).
In September last year, due to the typhoon and 928 Teacher's Day, office workers unexpectedly spent 2 more days. The Taiwan headquarters of Hon Hai issued an announcement stating that because Taiwan is the focus of R&D and design, and in line with seasonality and working timeliness, October 1 was changed to work day and the compensatory day was moved to the lunar Spring Festival to the replacement, indicating that this adjustment was legal. After negotiation and approval by the labor and capital conference, there were about 7,000 Hon Hai employees transferred to the shift at that time, which also made Hon Hai's Spring Festival holiday particularly unique.
