This adjustment has four major changes compared with the 4th edition released on October 7. Some will not be adjusted in 2020, and some will be adjusted to 10 events in 2021.

main adjustments are as follows:

1. Due to travel restrictions and government epidemic prevention regulations, WST decided to cancel the three Chinese ranking events originally planned to stay in March, and replaced it with a new ranking event called "Professional Series". The event was held in three stages, with 128 players divided into 16 groups, 16 groups were decided to be the first to be divided into two groups, and the finals were decided until the champion was generated;

2. Added the Champions League in the three-stage invitational nature;

3, the original match locations of the German Masters and Welsh Open , Berlin and Cardiff, were both marked as TBC (to be determined). In 2021, except for the Masters and World Championships, the match locations of London and Sheffield , all the match locations of the remaining 8 events are in the state of being pending;

4, the European Series of Brodar Open will be postponed from the original plan to early February to early March.

Due to the epidemic this season, the frequency of professional calendar adjustments is also more frequent than in previous years. This adjustment means that the outside world's expectations for Chinese events are hopeless. 21 Chinese professional troops led by Ding Junhui (except for Fu Jiajun , Mei Xiwen, and Browning in China), including all 128 professional players, will encounter the devil's schedule together.

All players will seamlessly complete 10 events within 120 days in 2021, and 18 events will be completed within 8 months of the entire season. The intensity of the game is slightly stronger than the 2019/20 season. In the second half of the season, WST and all players will face the dual challenges of devilish schedule and epidemic prevention and safety. As of now, a total of 27 people have temporarily withdrawn, and 11 players + 1 referee has tested positive for the new crown.
