Zhiyan admired Qiu Ming very much, and he tried his best to resist the opinions. He passed on his robe and bowl to Qiu Ming unexpectedly, and gave him the Dharma name Huiming.

In the end of the movie, Huiming burned the original manuscript of "The Awakening of Faith in the Mahayana" handwritten by Master Xuanzang in front of everyone, and gave a reprint of "The Awakening of Faith in the Mahayana" to General Wang Ji.
