After the Qing Dynasty entered the pass, due to the implementation of the "sea ban" policy, fishermen on the coast of Chaoyang were forced to move inward, and the difficulties in life also caused some people to venture to smuggle and go out to seek a way out for survival. In the 22nd year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1683), the Qing government ordered the ban on sea and implemented a comprehensive opening of sea. At this time, the number of people from Chaoyang who went out to do business, trade and work to make a living was increasing. A large number of county residents also began to take the " red-headed boat " to sea, most of which went to Singapore, Malaya and Siam. In recent years, five ban monuments have been found in the ancient ferry of Longjin in recent years. From the inscription, it can be seen that this place was the place where red-headed ships gathered in and out of the Qing Dynasty. The red-headed ships entered and carried passengers and led to the South China Sea. The monument of "The Sign of the Master Mao Tai of the Lord of Lianming County" was erected in the 49th year of Qianlong (1784) mentioned that "Chaoyi is located in the coastal area, and all goods produced in the mountains and seas are shipped by ships for sale in various provinces."
