The city’s compulsory education schools will start on March 1, 2023 and end on July 14, a total of 20 weeks. The summer vacation starts on July 15, 2023 and ends on August 31.
The city’s general high schools will start on March 1, 2023 and end on July 21, totaling 21 weeks (including one week of social practice). The summer vacation starts on July 22, 2023 and ends on August 31.
According to the requirements of the "Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan and Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition)", the total number of academic year 2022-2023 is 39 weeks. The new teaching time for grades one to eighth grade is 35 weeks, the review examination time is 2 weeks, the school mobility time is 2 weeks, the new teaching time for grade nine is 33 weeks, the first semester review examination time is 1 week, the second semester graduation review examination time is 3 weeks, and the school mobility time is 2 weeks. School mobile time can be used to centrally arrange labor, science and technology, culture and sports activities, etc. The teaching time for general high schools in the 2022-2023 academic year is 40 weeks and social practice is 1 week.
