According to the ocean currents, pumice stones face south along the direction of the Ryukyu Islands and may float to Taiwan Island in China and the waters near Luzon Island in the Philippines in the future.

The 17 cities and villages in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, the 12 cities and villages in Kagoshima Prefecture, as well as Tokyo, Kanagawa Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture and other places have all been affected by pumice stones.

A large number of pumice stones are piled up on the coast, which looks like a gravel beach from a distance, but in fact, there is sea water under these pumice stones. Some local people tried to swim in such water, but they were almost unable to move forward.
