In order to do a good job in registering for physician qualification examinations, in accordance with the "Practicing Physician Law of the People's Republic of China" (hereinafter referred to as the "Practicing Physician Law") and relevant regulations, the registration qualifications for candidates for physician qualification examinations are now as follows:
Article 1
complies with the "Practicing Physician Law", "Interim Measures for Physician Qualification Examination" (formerly Ministry of Health Order No. 4) and the "Measures for Physician Qualification Examination of Traditional Medicine and People with Dedicated Experts" (formerly Ministry of Health Order No. 52).
Article 2
Probation institution refers to a medical, prevention and health care institution that complies with the provisions of the "Practical Physicians Law", the "Medical Institutions Management Regulations" and the "Implementation Rules of the Regulations on Medical Institutions Management Regulations".
Article 3 Probation period assessment certificate
(I) When registering, candidates shall submit a certificate that the probation period has expired and passed the assessment that is consistent with the application category. When registering, fresh graduates should submit a trial certificate issued by the probation institution, and submit a certificate of one year of probation period and passing the assessment before August 31 of that year. When applying for the exam, candidates should have one year of trial time for medical, prevention and health care institutions that are consistent with the application category or cumulative trial time (including multiple institutions).
(II) Active-duty soldiers must hold the probationary period assessment certificate issued by their military medical, prevention and health care institutions before they can apply.
(III) The certificate of passing the probation period is valid for the year.
Article 4 Valid ID card for registration
(I) The valid ID card for Chinese mainland citizens applying for medical qualifications is the second generation resident ID card, temporary ID card, officer certificate, police officer certificate, civilian cadre certificate, soldier certificate, and military student certificate; the valid ID card for Taiwanese, Hong Kong and Macao residents applying for medical qualifications is the permit for travel between Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao residents to and from the mainland.
(II) The valid identity document of a foreigner is a passport.
Article 5 Application category
(I) If a practicing assistant physician meets the requirements for applying for a practicing physician, he or she can apply for a practicing physician qualification. The application category shall be consistent with the qualification category of a practicing assistant physician.
(II) Apply for the medical qualifications of the corresponding category and must have a medical degree consistent with them. Those who have a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine and are procured in public health positions can apply for the public health category physician qualification with this academic qualification. Applicants who graduated from traditional Chinese medicine, integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and ethnic medicine will apply for the corresponding medical qualifications of traditional Chinese medicine category according to the medical major that has obtained an education.
(III) Persons who meet the qualifications for practicing physicians can apply for the same category of practicing assistant physician qualifications.
(IV) If you work in a family planning technical service institution at or above the township level and meet the conditions stipulated in Articles 9 and 10 of the "Practicing Physician Law", you can apply for the qualification of a doctor of the corresponding category.

(1) Postgraduate degree
(1) Clinical medicine, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine (integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine), optometry medicine, and preventive medicine, who have completed one year of clinical or public health internship and more than one year of clinical or public health practice during their studies, they shall apply for the corresponding category of physician qualification with a bachelor's degree.
(2) Postgraduate degree in clinical medicine (including traditional Chinese medicine, integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine), stomatology, and public health, as the basis for applying for the qualification of physicians in the corresponding category. Applicants with a postgraduate degree in the year of graduation must submit their postgraduate diploma before August 31 of that year, and provide a degree certificate and other materials to prove that they are a professional degree and graduate degree before they can take the comprehensive written medical examination.
(3) A graduate student with academic degree (formerly "science degree") majoring in clinical medicine, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese and Western medicine, ethnic medicine, public health and preventive medicine who enrolled before December 31, 2014, who has a clinical or public health degree equivalent to one year of undergraduate degree and more than one year of clinical or public health practice, the postgraduate degree and subject are the basis for applying for the qualification of a physician in the corresponding category. Applicants who apply for the year of graduate graduation must submit their graduate graduation certificate before August 31 of that year before they can take the comprehensive written medical examination. For academic degree graduate students who have enrolled after January 1, 2015, their postgraduate degree is not used as the basis for applying for various types of physician qualifications.
(4) Academic degree in clinical medicine (nurturing) or a professional degree in clinical medicine (nurturing field) is not used as the basis for applying for various types of physician qualifications.
(II) Bachelor's degree
(1) Five years or more school-based bachelor's degree in clinical medicine, anesthesia, psychiatry, medical imaging, radiation medicine, ophthalmology and optometry medicine ("Optometry" is only allowed to enroll in Wenzhou Medical University before December 31, 2012), medical test (only before December 31, 2012), maternal and child health medicine (only before December 31, 2014) as the basis for applying for the clinical category practicing physician qualification examination.
(2) A five-year bachelor's degree in oral medicine is used as the basis for applying for the oral category practicing physician qualification examination.
(3) A bachelor's degree in five-year preventive medicine and maternal and child health medicine is used as the basis for applying for the public health category practicing physician qualification examination.
(4) Bachelor's degree in traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, clinical medicine of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, Tibetan medicine, Mongolian medicine, Victorian medicine, Dai medicine, Zhuang medicine, and Kazakh medicine for five years or more, as the basis for applying for the corresponding professional physician qualification examination in the traditional Chinese medicine category.
(5) If you enroll before December 31, 2009 and have a bachelor's degree in a medical major that meets the provisions of this paragraph, you should apply for the examination with your academic degree; if you enroll after January 1, 2010, if you enroll after January 1, 2010, if you enroll in a medical major, the academic degree is not used as the basis for applying for the medical qualification, except for those approved by the national education administrative department.
(6) A undergraduate degree in medicine who graduates from junior college to undergraduate degree and who have entered undergraduate degree after September 1, 2015 must have the same major as the junior college major, and their bachelor's degree can be used as the basis for applying for a medical qualification.
(III) Higher Vocational (Junior) Education
(1) Graduates of clinical medicine majors (including clinical medicine, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine bone injury, acupuncture and massage, Mongolian medicine, Tibetan medicine, Uyghur medicine, etc.) who have enrolled after January 1, 2005 and have their junior college degree as the basis for applying for a doctor's qualification. Graduates of medical majors (refer to the name of undergraduate majors during the same period) who have been approved by the provincial education and health administrative departments (Traditional Medicine Management Department) who have enrolled before December 31, 2004 will have a junior college degree as the basis for applying for medical qualifications.
(2) Graduates who have entered the junior high school starting point 5-year medical major before December 31, 2013, with the approval of the education and health administrative departments at or above the provincial level, will have their junior college degree as the basis for applying for medical qualifications. After obtaining the qualification, it is limited to practicing in rural and rural medical institutions for 5 years before applying for changing the practice location to a county-level medical institution. Graduates of junior high school majoring in a five-year medical major who are admitted after January 1, 2014 cannot be used as the basis for applying for a doctor's qualification.
(3) Graduates of the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine major (including the five-year junior college degree major in junior high school starting from the Ministry of Education and the former Ministry of Health) who have enrolled before December 31, 2008, have a junior college degree as the basis for applying for a doctor's qualification. Graduates of the major of integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine who have been admitted after January 1, 2009 (including the five-year junior college degree major in traditional Chinese and Western medicine clinical medicine at the beginning of junior high school) have a junior college degree that is not used as the basis for applying for a doctor's qualification.
(4) If you enroll before December 31, 2009, you should apply for the medical major with a junior college degree or a medical major in accordance with the provisions of this paragraph; if you enroll after January 1, 2010, you should apply for the medical major in accordance with the medical major in accordance with the medical major in accordance with the academic qualifications, the academic qualification is not used as the basis for applying for the medical qualification, except for those approved by the national education administrative department.
(IV) Secondary vocational (technical secondary school) education
(1) After September 1, 2010, admission has been approved by the provincial education administrative department and the health and family planning administrative department (Traditional Chinese medicine management department) and registered with the Ministry of Education. Among them, the vocational (technical secondary school) education is the basis for applying for the qualification of practicing assistant physician in clinical categories. After rural medical graduates are qualified as practicing assistant physicians, they are limited to practicing in village clinics. Those who are really in need can practice in township health centers.
(2) Graduates of health care majors in secondary vocational schools (secondary vocational schools) who were admitted from September 25, 2000 to December 31, 2010, among which the vocational (secondary vocational school) degree is used as the basis for applying for the qualification of practicing assistant physician in clinical categories. After graduates of health care majors are qualified, they are limited to practicing in village clinics. Those who are really in need can practice in township health centers. Graduates of secondary vocational schools who have enrolled after January 1, 2011, except for rural medicine, have secondary vocational (secondary vocational college) education in other majors. They are not used as the basis for applying for the qualification of practicing assistant physicians in clinical categories.
(3) Graduates of community medicine, preventive medicine, maternal and child hygiene, medical imaging diagnosis, and oral medicine who were admitted before August 31, 2001, among which the vocational (technical secondary school) degree is the basis for applying for the qualification of practicing assistant physicians in the corresponding category. For graduates of the above major who have enrolled after September 1, 2001, the vocational (technical secondary school) degree is not used as the basis for applying for a doctor's qualification.
(4) Graduates of the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine major of secondary vocational schools who were admitted before December 31, 2006, and their vocational (technical secondary school) education is the basis for applying for the qualification of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine physicians in the traditional Chinese medicine category. For graduates from the major of integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine who have enrolled after January 1, 2007, the vocational (technical secondary school) degree is not used as the basis for applying for a doctor's qualification.
(5) Graduates of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine majors in secondary vocational schools (secondary vocational schools) who were admitted before December 31, 2006, among which the vocational (secondary vocational school) degree is the basis for applying for the corresponding medical qualifications of the traditional Chinese medicine category. After January 1, 2007, graduates of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine majors of secondary vocational schools (secondary vocational schools) registered by the Ministry of Education and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine will be the basis for applying for the corresponding medical qualifications of traditional Chinese medicine. Graduates of secondary traditional Chinese medicine majors who have been admitted after January 1, 2011 will be limited to practicing in primary medical institutions after obtaining qualifications.
(6) The education of a vocational high school in health is not used as the basis for applying for a doctor's qualification.
(7) The education of a secondary vocational school for health workers who have enrolled after January 1, 1999 is not used as the basis for applying for a doctor's qualification.
(V) Adult Education Education Degree
(1) Graduates of medical majors in adult higher education, self-study examinations, and distance education in various universities who have been admitted before October 31, 2002. This academic qualification is used as the basis for applying for the medical qualification of the corresponding category. If the above-mentioned graduates who have passed the medical qualification examination before admission to school, and whose major is the same as the medical qualification category, they can apply for the medical qualification examination for practicing physician qualification with their adult education qualification. Except for the above situations, the adult higher education degree of graduates from adult higher education, self-study examinations, and medical majors in various colleges and universities who have enrolled after November 1, 2002 will not be used as the basis for applying for medical qualifications.
(2) Adult secondary school medical graduates who have enrolled before August 31, 2001 have their adult secondary school education as the basis for applying for a doctor's qualification. Adult secondary school graduates who have enrolled after September 1, 2001 have their adult secondary school education as the basis for applying for a doctor's qualification.
(VI) Western medicine Chinese medicine personnel
Those who have obtained the qualification of a clinical practitioner or practicing assistant physician, who have obtained the professional qualification of a traditional Chinese medicine degree recognized by the education administrative department at the provincial level or above, or have systematically studied professional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine for more than two years and obtained the recognition of the provincial traditional Chinese medicine management department, or have participated in the Western medicine learning training class approved by the provincial traditional Chinese medicine administrative department, and have completed the prescribed course study and obtained the corresponding certificate, or who have studied with the teacher for 3 years and obtained the "Traditional Medical Education Admission and Examination Certificate" in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Measures for the Assessment and Examination of Physician Qualifications of People with Definite Experts" and have obtained the "Traditional Medical Education Admission Certificate", they can apply to participate in the same level of practicing physician or practicing assistant physician of the same level.
(7) Traditional medical teacher and person with expertise
(1) Traditional medical teacher and person with expertise should comply with the relevant provisions of Articles 27 and 28 of the "Measures for the Assessment of Physician Qualifications of Traditional Medical Teacher and person with expertise".
(2) After obtaining a professional certificate of practicing assistant physicians in traditional medicine and obtaining a professional degree or above in traditional medicine in higher education recognized by the State Council’s education administrative department. If the practice time and time of obtaining an adult higher education degree meet the requirements, you can apply for the corresponding professional qualification of a practicing physician with the specified academic qualification.
(8) Other
Mainland Chinese residents who have obtained foreign medical degree and whose academic degree certificate must be certified by the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education and comply with the provisions of the "Practicing Physician Law" and its relevant documents, they can apply for the examination in accordance with these regulations.
Article 7
Permanent residents and foreign personnel in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao shall apply for the examination in accordance with the relevant documents.
Article 8
Blind medical massagers take the examination for medical massagers for blind in accordance with the provisions of the "Regulations on the Management of Medical Massage for the Blind" (Western Medical Government [2009] No. 37).
Article 9
These regulations shall come into force on the date of publication. The "Regulations on Registration for Physician Qualification Examination (2006 Edition)" and the "Notice on Revision of the Relevant Terms of the "Regulations on Registration for Physician Qualification Examination (2006 Edition)" (Weiban Yifa [2008] No. 64) are also abolished.
