The Chinese Academy of Sciences' 2021 Psychological Counselor Training Examination will begin soon, and the online mock exam will be conducted uniformly from 9:00 to 11:30 am on Saturday, November 13, 2021 (Saturday). The mock exam methods, question types, etc. are exactly the same as those of the formal exam. Candidates must take mock exams on time to be familiar with the online exam process and check whether the equipment is operating normally. Those who are unfamiliar with the examination operations and procedures affect the formal examination shall bear their own responsibility.
Exam Process

Step 1: Log in to the mobile client to complete the identity verification, turn on the monitoring system
60 minutes before the exam begins, candidates must open the mobile invigilator client in advance for device debugging and confirmation: enter the admission ticket number and examination ID for face verification, confirm that the invigilator video recording function is normal, and fixed in the appropriate position as required.
Special note: When candidates log in to the invigilator system, they will conduct facial recognition authentication based on the Ministry of Public Security database. For candidates who take the exam with a non-Chinese resident ID card, face comparison will be conducted through the backend of the invigilator system based on the uncrowned photos provided by the candidates when submitting the application materials. Verification failure may be caused by instability in light, angle and other reasons. After failing to verify
for five consecutive times, the system will prompt "Skip face verification and enter the exam". After the system marks an abnormality, it will not affect the online exam and invigilator video recording. A second manual review will be conducted on candidates with abnormal facial verification within 30 days after the exam. Those who do not take the exam will be treated as cheating.

Step 2: Log in to the computer client and start the exam
Candidates can log in to the computer examination system within 60 minutes before the exam begins. The password for formal examination is different from equipment debugging and mock exams. Candidates must pay attention to checking the notification and admission ticket information. After completing the login, candidates must confirm their basic information and take personal frontal photos as prompted. Only after confirming that the information is correct and the camera function is normal can you enter the exam interface. If the allowed answering time is not reached, the interface will prompt the current time to start the exam. When the exam officially begins, candidates can see the exam questions and start answering the questions. After 30 minutes of the unified examination time, the login interface will display "You are late" and candidates will be unable to log in to the examination system for the exam.
If the candidate fails to confirm the examination equipment and network environment in advance, or if the candidate is unable to take the examination due to delays due to other personal reasons, he shall bear the responsibility.
Special note: During the exam, the computer camera must be kept running normally. If you encounter technical problems such as equipment or operation, you can click on "Technical Support" on the right side of the page to obtain help. Technical support only answers questions related to the examination system. It is strictly forbidden to disclose or consult technical support or consult non-technical questions related to the examination content, such as examination qualifications, examination scores, passing lines, etc.

Step 3: Complete the exam, end the monitoring
After answering the questions, candidates can click [End Exam] in the lower right corner of the computer examination interface, and select the end of the exam and will be recorded as "The candidate has submitted the exam"; after finishing the exam on the computer, click [End Exam] on the mobile monitoring terminal, close the monitoring screen and return to the login interface. After 40 minutes of the unified examination time, candidates can submit their papers in advance. After reaching the end time specified by the exam, the system will collect the papers in a uniform manner regardless of whether all answers are completed or not.
Special note: The answering interface does not display the test countdown. Candidates must prepare a clock of non-electronic equipment on their own to reasonably arrange the answer time.
Exam Precautions

Any suspected violation of the fairness of the exam, such as monitoring blocking, candidates leaving their seats, multiple people appearing, using electronic equipment, and deviating from the monitoring range during the exam may cause the test scores to be invalid.
The camera of the computer examination equipment should be kept facing the candidates. Candidates should keep their heads and shoulders in the monitoring range and expose their ears. The mobile phone invigilator equipment should be fixed at a distance of about 1.5 meters from the candidate's side and the candidate's examination status and the surrounding examination environment must be collected. Make sure the front camera is not blocked by computer screens or other debris.
