[Fengyan I Fengyu] Movie Hall "The Legend of Qiao Feng", IMDb: 6.9, Douban: None, During the Northern Song Dynasty, Qiao Feng, the leader of the Beggar Gang, was a heroic hero and was supported by the martial arts. However, he was suddenly accused of being a Khitan and betrayed his relatives. On the way to trace his life experience and find his enemies, Qiao Feng and Murong's maid A'zhu got to know each other and fell in love with each other. The two went through the turmoil of Juxian Village, Yanmen Pass, and Jinghu, until A'Zhu was mistakenly killed by Qiao Feng due to Mrs. Ma's design. Qiao Feng finally found out that everything was Murong Fu's conspiracy to restore the Yan Kingdom.

is well paced and full of action, but can be slow in places! In terms of action, you can feel the force and power of every impact, and CGI takes visual stimulation to another level! In the film, Qiao Feng can fight very exaggeratedly, but the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms and the roaring sound made everyone say "Wow"... The ending should be a sequel. Jin Yong 's film and television version of the martial arts world is still very interesting to watch. They really did a great job combining "cable + CGI" and martial arts into a more effective action movie.

First of all, the pace of the movie is slowed down due to the relationship between Qiao Feng and A'Zhu. However, it's not managed well enough to disrupt the flow and momentum of the film! Secondly, Donnie Yen seems to be only good at action, but not romance! There is no chemistry spark between Qiao Feng and A Zhu! Downey's performance is rather stiff when it comes to the intimate moments with Aju. Somehow it feels more like a father-daughter relationship than a lover's relationship.

The second half of the subplot is rather strange, especially in the introduction of the new characters of Aju's parents and her rebellious sister. This was probably due to time constraints, things were rushed so it didn't fit well into the overall movie and seemed disjointed! Since this is going to be a sequel, why not split the movie into two decent movies instead of throwing everything out and creating some imbalance in detail. Furthermore, I believe the audience can enjoy the film better rather than watching a lengthy movie without a proper plot. Despite the above shortcomings, this is a film suitable for casual entertainment.
