In the Municipal Women's Federation's petition room, this is a seat that legal and rights protection volunteers often sit. Here, lawyer Chen Shufang has been sitting for 10 years.
At the end of 2008, Lawyer Chen joined the Hangzhou Women's Rights Protection and Legal Aid Volunteer Group. Since joining the volunteer team, she has been staying at the front line of the women's rights protection letters and visits reception window for ten years, giving full play to her professional expertise as a lawyer and psychological counselor to solve her problems for the visiting women.
As one of the members of the Marriage and Family Dispute Mediation Committee of the Hangzhou Women's Federation, Chen Shufang has participated in the mediation of marriage and family dispute cases many times. Through a full survey in the early stage, she has done ideological work with the parties and a professional background in law and psychology, and has achieved a high mediation success rate.
Innovative form, arrange situational dramas to help promote legal publicity
For many years, lawyer Chen Shufang has been active in the work of "Helping the Rule of Law Hangzhou·Women in Action" to send the law to the grassroots. Over the past ten years, lawyer Chen has carried out more than 40 legal publicity activities to the grassroots level, and more than 10,000 beneficiaries, effectively improving the legal awareness and ability of the majority of women and family members.
She has launched a series of legal publicity courses such as "Anti-Domestic Violence Law" and "Marriage and Family Book". She also led volunteers to arrange legal publicity scene dramas and conducted more than 20 public welfare tours in various parts of Hangzhou to promote legal knowledge in an easy-to-understand manner.
Last year, Lawyer Chen provided public welfare comments for the Municipal Women's Federation's marriage and family legal publicity micro-study, which improved the legal professionalism of micro-study.

As a lawyer, she can only provide legal services to limited parties, and establishing a public welfare social organization can provide help to more women and families. In 2015, Chen Shufang established the Hangzhou Hehuan Psychological Counseling Service Center and has undertaken the anti-domestic violence service project of the Municipal Women's Federation for four consecutive years.
In addition to statutory holidays, she led the team to carry out daily duty, basically ensuring that the anti-domestic violence studio staff will not be interrupted throughout the year. She herself regarded the Women's Federation as her second "home", and took root in the anti-domestic violence studio for 3 to 4 days a week, listened to the handling of domestic violence cases the previous week, and intervened and supervised serious cases in a timely manner.
When visiting a domestic violence case, Chen Shufang felt the situation was serious with her professional sensitivity. She immediately rushed to the hospital to visit the client to understand the situation and relieve the client's panic. After the physical condition of the person involved improved, she accompanied the person to the police station to make a record, and conducted psychological counseling for the person involved, using mental motivation therapy to enable her to re-know herself and her family, improve her self-confidence and improve her sense of self-worth. The efforts of Chen Shufang and team members effectively resolved the differences between the couple involved, and the two parties finally agreed to divorce, avoiding the intensification of conflicts.
For four years, Chen Shufang has led her team to mediate domestic violence cases on the "110" emergency linkage platform, and organized professionals to conduct in-depth consultation and tracking services on more than 200 cases, effectively improving the awareness of rights protection and responsibility in the whole society in anti-domestic violence.
Establish the first anti-domestic violence data platform in the country
At the same time, Chen Shufang led the team to establish the first anti-domestic violence data platform in the country. Through data analysis and judgment, the monthly domestic violence data of the month is sorted and summarized, forming a monthly Hangzhou domestic violence analysis report to guide anti-domestic violence work in various places.
In April this year, Xia Jie, vice chairman of the All-China Women's Federation and secretary of the Secretariat, and his delegation investigated the anti-domestic violence data platform.
This year marks the second anniversary of the promulgation and implementation of the "Anti-Domestic Violence Law of the People's Republic of China". Hangzhou Hehuan Psychological Counseling Service Center released the "Hangzhou Anti-Domestic Violence Work Research Report", which attracted widespread attention from all walks of life. Nearly 20 media such as Xinhua News Agency, China Women's Daily, and People's Daily reported it.
