. Which groups of people recommend priority for influenza vaccination?
The following 5 categories of people are recommended to give priority to vaccination:
1. Medical staff. includes clinical treatment personnel, public health personnel, health quarantine personnel, etc.
2. Participants and support personnel in large-scale events.
3. Vulnerable groups and employees in places such as nursing homes, long-term care institutions, welfare homes, etc.
4. People in key places. such as teachers and students in childcare institutions, primary and secondary schools, detainees and staff in prison institutions, etc.
5. Other people at high risk for influenza. includes home-based elderly people aged 60 and above, children aged 6 months to 5 years old, patients with specific chronic diseases, family members and caregivers of babies under 6 months of age, and pregnant women or women preparing to get pregnant during the flu season.
