Advantech General Manager Chen Qingxi said that due to poor demand in the mainland market, the overall revenue performance in the first half of the year was lower than the target set by the company at the beginning of the year. However, due to the operating scale and cost control, coupled with the weakening of raw material prices, it is beneficial to the expenses and cost side, so the profit performance is still in line with the company's previous performance. Advantech is expected to hold a financial report briefing on the 7th to explain its outlook for the second half of the year.
If we look at the revenue area in the first half of the year, Advantech's Japanese market benefited from ATJ's revenue contribution, with an annual revenue growth rate of 199% in the first half of the year, followed by emerging markets with an annual growth rate of 23%. The North American market remained stable with an annual growth rate of 14.6%, which also meets the company's expectations. As for the impact of the depreciation of the euro, the annual growth rate of the European market is only 2%. However, mainland revenue is still weak, with an annual decrease of 9.4%.
If it is a product application, Advantech said that since it is included in ATJ (Advantech Technologies Japan) revenue from February, the Applied Computing Group (ACG) revenue grew by 54% annually, the most prominent.
is followed by the Networks and Communications Group (NCG), with annual revenue growth of 16%; the embedded computing core business group (EIoT) has an annual growth of 7%, which is also in line with the company's expectations. The revenue momentum of the Intelligent Services Group (SIoT) weakened since the second quarter due to delayed shipment of projects, with revenue declining by 1% year-on-year in the first half of the year; the Industrial IoT Group (SIoT Group) suffered a 5% revenue decline in the first half of the year due to the decline in demand in the mainland market.
