In Lugang, a group of "Lugang boys" who returned from the city to their hometown in the countryside are silently carrying out the "deer protection campaign".
What is the deer-protection sports? The answer is simple. They are a group of people who work silently in their hometown. They hope that through their power, more people can see Lugang. The initiator Zhang Jingye started the deer protection campaign three years ago. Since picking up garbage, a young man found that the pond in the community was black and smelly, so a group of people jumped down in frog costumes and dug out the mud one by one. Many residents say they are fools, so why don’t they ask the town office to come to Qing Dynasty? "But if the town office is allowed to clean, residents will not find that the pond near their homes has turned into stinky ditches. Some people hope to promote the renovation of 100 century-old houses in Lugang and assist 100 young people in starting businesses locally. A group of young people who hope that their hometown will be better have given up the high salary in the city and the future that people call, wanting people to know about Lugang's goodness, but before letting others know about Lugang's goodness, Lugang must be better! Some old house owners want to demolish the house and build it into a new-style building. They tell the house owner that if the old house is demolished, it will be gone. No matter how much money you spend, you can't buy back the traces of history. Old houses are not just old houses, their stories are the real treasures of Lugang. Although making money and living a better life seem a bit contradictory to the promotion of local history and culture, these Lugang boys firmly believe that "if there is no good job in my hometown, then create it yourself!"
