On May 10, Zhang Xiang, Deputy Director of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Director of the Provincial Taixin Economic Integration Development Promotion Center, Jin Honggang, Executive Deputy Director of the Provincial Taixin Economic Integration Development Promotion Center, Yang Junmin, Deputy Director of the Provincial Taixin Economic Integration Development Promotion Center and Executive Deputy Director of the Taiyuan District Operation Center, Sun Quan, Secretary of the Wanbailin District Party Committee, and his party went to the construction project of the new campus (Phase II) of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology undertaken by Shanxi Construction Investment Construction Group. Wang Zhilian, Secretary of the Party Committee of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, Bai Peikang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, and relevant persons in charge of the project department accompanied the investigation. The
research team went deep into the project site, inspected and learned in detail about the project progress, production safety and other related situations, conducted in-depth communication with project management personnel, and put forward specific requirements.
Zhang Xiang first learned in detail about the normalized epidemic prevention and control and the implementation of safety production responsibilities, and fully affirmed the progress of the project construction. He pointed out that the construction project of the new campus (Phase II) of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology is the first batch of key projects in Taixin Integrated Economic Zone in 2022. The construction unit must take a highly responsible attitude, take the initiative to do a good job in various construction work, and accelerate the comprehensive construction of the project. At the same time, we will focus on the project progress, strictly control the project quality, ensure the project safety, ensure the project completion and use as scheduled, and contribute to the construction of the Taixin Integrated Economic Zone.

Project Introduction
Taiyuan University of Science and Technology New Campus (Phase II) Construction Project Practical Teaching Building and Grammar Teaching Building Project are located in Wanbailin District, Taiyuan City, west of Xizhong Ring Road, south of West Line Street, east of Daozha East Road, and north of Xishan Special Line Railway Line. The practical teaching building is located in the southeast corner of the plot, 11 floors high; the grammar teaching building is located in the southeast side of the plot, 5 floors high. The total investment in the project is approximately RMB 120.1496 million. After the completion of the two teaching buildings, they will have the functions of engineering training centers, teaching, experiments, scientific research, etc., which will help promote Taiyuan University of Science and Technology to fully implement the task of high-quality development of higher education and accelerate the construction of a high-quality education system.
