Hon Hai’s MIH Alliance held its first membership meeting yesterday (25th) and announced a number of future plans, including the launch of electric buses in 2022 and the mass production plan of C-class electric vehicles in 2023.

Hon Hai said that this year is the first year of MIH, and more than 1,200 members have joined MIH within 140 days. This open platform will reduce development costs and shorten development schedules, so that electric vehicle products can enter the market faster and become more competitive. In the MIH chassis laying, there is a platform component sharing rate of up to 50-100%.
At the membership meeting, MIH CEO Zheng Xiancong also announced that on October 1, the new generation of development tool NEW EVKit will be released. In addition, mass-produced electric buses will be launched in 2022, and in 2023, mass-produced electric vehicles will be launched.
currently has more than 1,200 members, with members spread across five continents, the traditional vehicle industry accounts for 67%, the communication industry accounts for 13%, the network software industry 10%, and other categories 10%.
