I still remember that we worked hard and implemented hard, and achieved significant results in social investment promotion, industrial economic development, land conservation and intensive use, and the joy of being praised by the State Council.I still remember that we are committed to promoting major breakthroughs in the project, and a number of billion-level projects such as China Merchants Heavy Industry Luxury Cruise, Jinguang High-end Daily Paper, Hengke New Materials, etc. are implemented, and the confidence that the landmark industrial cluster is promising in the future. Remember, we accelerated the improvement of urban transportation patterns, made breakthroughs in major transportation infrastructure such as the Shanghai-Tong Yangtze River Bridge and Yantong Railway, Xingdong Airport became an international airport, with passenger throughput exceeding 2 million, and the excitement of Ningtong direct EMU being opened and Nantong's "EMU era" speeding up. I still remember the persistence of our "blade inward" to promote self-revolution and two national pilot projects. "One seal to the end" has been "liked" by Premier Li Keqiang, and the excitement of 13 prefecture-level cities in the province in two rounds of "double innovation" environmental evaluations in the province. I still remember that we have carried out poverty alleviation accurately and improved the social security system. The care insurance system has covered 1.2 million people in the city and enjoyed nearly 6,000 people, and more than 300,000 people have received home-based care services. It is praised by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security as the "sixth insurance" and promoted it nationwide... There are unforgettable people here. I always have tears in my heart for deep love, for fear of wasting time and ruining the people. In seven years, I have traveled almost all over the urban and rural areas of Nantong. During my tenure as mayor, I received more than 2,200 petitions from the masses. Often ordinary citizens send me text messages or use the Internet to tell me their own worries and express criticism and reminders of government work; sometimes members of citizen inspection teams act as "special movements" and "woodpeckers" to help us promote the implementation of work and be good helpers of the government; often, mortal good deeds emerge, spreading moral power, and making this city full of warmth. Just before I left Nantong, the family of Cao Xu, who had been aiding Tibet for 38 years, handed over a million donations to me, realizing his wish to repay his hometown during his lifetime... Because I have been together for a long time, I can feel that thousands of ordinary Nantong people are the greatest. Today, I handed over the baton and could no longer serve everyone like before, but the deep feelings I had with the people of Nantong were hard to give up.
There are unforgettable things here. From making every effort to fight the tough battles of pollution prevention and control of scattered and polluting enterprises in the "three industries", riverbank co-governance, and solid waste disposal, to strengthening the filling of environmental infrastructure shortcomings, the quality of the ecological environment continues to improve; from standardizing government debt management and improving the state-owned assets operation system, to investigating and resolving risks in the fields of finance, stability, and effectively maintaining the bottom line of safety; from coordinating and handling complex petition issues, to properly resolving historical cumulative contradictions such as state-owned asset management, we have chewed down one "hard bone" together. For those tasks that have not been completed, for example, the 2035 edition of the city's general rules are still being improved and polished, the battle to build central cities has begun, the construction of major and major projects is being made breakthroughs, the reform of the government's investment and financing system has just "solved the problem", etc. I hope that comrades will succeed in doing it in a relay manner.
There are unforgettable experiences here. After serving as mayor for more than two years, I have the honor to work hard for the development of Nantong as Comrade Zhipeng’s assistant.
