Dear parents and friends:

Autumn is the peak season for respiratory infectious diseases, schools are places with high population density, and teachers and students are one of the susceptible groups for respiratory infectious diseases. In order to prevent and control the occurrence and epidemic of infectious diseases in autumn, protect the health of teachers and students, and maintain normal teaching order in the school. Now we inform our school about the precautions for the prevention and control of infectious diseases in autumn:

We should remind children to pay attention to the occurrence of colds and infectious diseases. Among them, colds are divided into influenza and common cold. Common infectious diseases in autumn include influenza, mumps , measles , chickenpox , hand, foot and mouth disease, etc.

1, influenza

is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by influenza virus. The main source of infection is patients and virus carriers. It is the most contagious in the first three days before the onset of the disease. The virus spreads with droplets spurted out by sneezing, coughing or speaking, and is mainly manifested as: acute onset, high fever, chills, headache, muscle and joint pain, general fatigue, nasal congestion, sore throat and dry cough. A few patients may have gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

2, common cold

Adult cold is mainly rhinovirus , and children are mainly parainfluenza virus and respiratory fusion virus. Clinical manifestations: The incubation period is short, about one day, the onset is urgent, generally only mild fever, and the body temperature does not exceed 39 degrees Celsius. Often sore throat, headache, general fatigue, nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, stomach discomfort, etc.

3, measles

Measles is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by measles virus. It is characterized by fever, cough, runny nose, eye mask congestion, oral mucosal ejaculation and systemic maculopapular rash, and spread rapidly. Measles is transmitted through respiratory droplets, and the patient is the only infectious disease, and can gain long-lasting immunity after illness.

4, chickenpox

3 A acute infectious disease caused by varicella zoster virus infection. It is mainly manifested as rash , papules , and chickenpox in the skin and mucous membranes, which may be accompanied by upper respiratory symptoms such as fever, headache, and sore throat. Chickenpox is extremely contagious. It is mainly transmitted through respiratory droplets or directly contact infection.

5, hand, foot and mouth disease

Children with mild fever, blisters appear in the mouth, sometimes accompanied by pain, forming superficial ulcers in the mouth. 1-2 days after the disease, blisters will appear on the patient's hands and feet (mostly seen on the skin surfaces of the patient's fingers, back of hands and insteps), but they will not be itchy or painful.

6, mumps

Acute respiratory infectious diseases caused by mumps virus, clinical manifestations: often accompanied by fever, headache, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, general discomfort, etc. parotid gland swelling occurs after 1-2 days, first on one side, and within 1-2 days the other side can also be swollen, and the two sides can reach peak within 2-3 days. The characteristics are centered on the earlobe. In severe cases, the soft tissues in the submandibular, neck and cheeks also swell, the edges are not clear, there is a elastic feeling, it feels painful when touched, and it is more obvious when opening the mouth and chewing.

7, Norovirus

Disease caused by Norovirus is an infectious disease of the digestive tract, mainly transmitted through fecal oral pathway, and can also be transmitted through direct contact between people or respiratory droplets. It is often seen in autumn and winter, and is clinically manifested as abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. Some patients are accompanied by symptoms of systemic infection and poisoning, such as fever, headache, loss of appetite, muscle and joint soreness, etc.

8, epidemic hemorrhagic fever

hemorrhagic fever is caused by hantavirus . It is a natural epidemic-derived disease with rats as the main source of infection. It usually occurs by eating or contacting items contaminated by mouse secretions and excrements or bites of insects, or contacting sick animals.Clinical manifestations: fever, chills, weakness; muscles and joints soreness, skin bleeding points, etc.

At present, epidemic prevention and control work is still very important. In addition, autumn and winter are the peak seasons for diseases, so we must strictly prevent them. Although different infectious diseases have different treatment methods, the basic preventive measures for various infectious diseases are the same. As long as we complete the children's planned immunization procedures on time, understand and master some basic prevention knowledge, we can effectively reduce the occurrence and spread of the disease.

1. Persist in daily health monitoring. Continue to do a good job in daily health check-in of the "Xue'an APP", implement daily early and evening check-ups at home, and check whether the body has fever, rash, dry cough, etc.

2. Open windows every day to ventilate to keep the indoor air fresh;

3. Strengthen physical exercise, enhance physical fitness, and improve the ability to prevent diseases;

4. No places with dense population and air pollution , such as shopping malls, bathrooms, etc.;

5. Wash hands frequently, pay attention to personal hygiene, do not share cups with others, do not spit anywhere, blow your nose and spit with toilet paper, and develop good hygiene habits;

6. Work and rest on time, ensure sleep, increase and decrease clothes as the weather changes, pay attention to keeping cold and warm;

7. Diet reasonably, increase nutrition, drink more water, consume enough vitamins, and eat more foods rich in high-quality protein , sugars and trace elements;

8. If you have suspected symptoms such as fever, cough, runny nose, rash, or other discomfort, you should seek medical treatment in time; Especially for the temperature exceeding 38℃ for two consecutive days, you must go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment, wear a mask when visiting the hospital, wash your hands after returning home to avoid cross infection; although there are many types of autumn infectious diseases, as long as we actively prevent and treat them correctly, and achieve early detection, early isolation, early diagnosis and early treatment, we can effectively block the epidemic and spread of infectious diseases and keep them out.

I hope all parents will actively cooperate and let us work together to create a safe and harmonious growth environment and promote the healthy growth of our children!
