Since yesterday, there have been large-scale heavy rainstorms and local heavy rainstorms in the province. The precipitation is mainly concentrated in Quzhou , Lishui , Jinhua , Hangzhou and other areas. The rainfall has caused house collapse, personnel trapped, landslides and other dangerous situations. At 11 noon today, the Provincial Flood Control Headquarters launched a Level IV emergency response.
Because the rainfall in Taizhou this year is significantly higher than that in previous years, the water level of Changtan Reservoir is 35.17 meters, exceeding the flood limit water level of 20.12 meters. At 10 o'clock this morning, Taizhou Huangyan Changtan Reservoir opened the gate to discharge flood water, with a discharge flow of about 260 cubic meters/second.

Affected by heavy rain, the water level of Lishui River Reservoir continues to rise. This morning, the water in Xitou Village, Baoxi Township, Lishui Longquan City rose sharply, the water level had already filled the roadbed, and some bamboo buildings were flooded. At 8 a.m., Longquan issued a red warning signal for heavy rain.
Due to the continuous heavy rainfall, many dangerous situations have occurred in Lishui and other places. At around 1 noon yesterday, an elderly man in Bailuling, Songyang County, Lishui was buried by a suddenly collapsed house. Police officers from Xiping Police Station of Songyang County Public Security Bureau quickly arrived at the scene. With the help of the surrounding residents, the police quickly cleared the stones and soil around the elderly. After 13 minutes of emergency rescue, the trapped elderly man was successfully dug out and sent to the hospital for emergency treatment in time. It is understood that the old man is 89 years old this year and is currently receiving treatment in the hospital.

At 2 pm yesterday, a landslide occurred in the Linling Line of Longquan City. The falling soil and trees blocked most of the road, making it impossible for vehicles to pass. After receiving the dangerous call, the highway emergency rescue team quickly set off and transferred large machinery to rush to the site of the incident. The forklift cleaned the earth and stones, and the section of the road was stolen in less than 20 minutes.

Affected by heavy rainstorms, Kaihua County Xidong Village, Chinatown, Chinatown, suffered severe flooding, resulting in power outages in the two stations of Lianhuaxin and Zhulanwu in Xidong Village. State Grid Kaihua County Power Supply Company immediately organized personnel to rush to the scene to carry out emergency repairs. The emergency repair personnel dug holes and set up electric poles in the yellow mud, setting up new lines in the deep and shallow yellow mud. After working continuously for more than 8 hours, the power supply was resumed on the entire line.

It is expected that there will still be heavy rainstorms in our province today and tomorrow. Due to the large cumulative precipitation in some areas in the early stage, the superposition effect of heavy precipitation and the increased risk level of geological disasters, special attention should be paid to prevent secondary disasters such as mountain torrents, landslides and urban and rural waterlogging in small river basins.
