According to reports, in recent years, Humen has vigorously implemented the innovation-driven development strategy, accelerated the creation of innovation platforms, cultivated innovation entities, integrated innovation capital, and scientific and technological innovation achievements continue to emerge, and the modern financial industry continues to develop. At present, Humen Town has 256 national high-tech enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 50.6%; 187 self-built R&D institutions for enterprises above the designated size, with a coverage rate of 40.9%; 3 technology incubators and carriers have been built, namely Humen e-commerce industry incubator (national level), Humen Clothing Creative Design Incubator (provincial level), and Doda International E-commerce City (municipal level). In 2018, Humen invested 1.352 billion yuan in R&D (RD) in the whole society, with 3,961 patent applications, a year-on-year increase of 26.35%, and 2,725 patent authorizations, a year-on-year increase of 30.07%.
"Last year, since the Humen 'Technology Finance Month' event was first held, more than 50 financial institutions of Humen have been of various types. Through a series of activities, our town has established a supply and demand information platform, improved the financing demand docking mechanism, fully played the role of finance in helping scientific and technological innovation, and promoted the bank credit of nearly 1.2 billion yuan, becoming an important activity brand for Humen Town to promote the connection between banks and enterprises. It is understood that in April 2018, Humen Town held the first one-month science and technology finance month event with the theme of "Technology Leads, Finance Helps, and Promotes High-Quality Development". During this period, 14 activities were held, including the 2018 Humen Science and Technology Finance Exchange and Matching Meeting and the "Technology Finance Month" launch ceremony, the Humen Doubling Industrial Fund and High-tech Enterprise Matching Exchange Meeting, the 2018 Humen Town Prevention of Illegal Fundraising Legal Publicity Propaganda Conference, and the 2018 Humen Town Small and Medium Enterprises Inclusive Finance Matching Meeting, and a total of 18 financial institutions and 500 (times) of enterprises participated, which promoted the credit granting of approximately 1.2 billion yuan for each bank.
