Hanyang District Fangcao Primary School Chinese teacher Jiang Yuzhang, combining the characteristics of children born in the 2000s and 200s who are familiar with and like the Internet, has penetrated online learning, class management, and online classrooms into daily teaching. Recently, a reporter from Yangtze River Daily interviewed this teacher.
In May, Class 5, Grade 1 (1) of Fangcao Primary School had to suspend classes for 21 days due to mumps in a sudden period of time due to several children. In order not to let the children fall behind, Jiang Yuzhang recorded teaching videos every day and used education information platforms such as Wuhan Education Yunjia School Gang and QQ to conduct distance teaching. For more than ten minutes of video, shooting, editing, and adjusting, it often takes 3 hours to complete. She assigns homework on the educational cloud every day, asking the children to take photos before 10 a.m. the next day, and she takes the time to correct and evaluate selectively.
On the third day of class suspension, Jiang Yuzhang was temporarily transferred to participate in the district activities. There were still two days of class recording tasks that had not been completed. She brought a computer to record classes at the event site while doing PPT, and she had no time to eat lunch.
That afternoon, Jiang Yuzhang's family needed surgery due to a broken leg. After completing the one-day recording of the class, she rushed to the hospital to send her family into the operating room. Because she was worried that she would not have time to register classes the next day after the operation, she took care of the patient and did not return home until 12:30 in the middle of the night.
The children are also very good, with the comprehensive scores in the final exam first in grade.
Online learning, class space, and online teaching are the teaching models pursued by Jiang Yuzhang. She and her children publish every bit of daily study and life, and while creating a class online learning community, she also changed many children. Chen Li'ang was originally a student in his class who was not very active. Since he adopted homework assistance, he has completed the learning tasks assigned by Jiang Yuzhang very seriously. Jiang Yuzhang would watch every video assignment by Chen Li'ang and carefully comment and encourage him below. Chen Li'ang did better every time and became more and more confident. He used this energy to study, and his academic performance achieved a leap.
