Surrounded by mountains, the water source is abundant and the soil is fertile. It was a logging area in the early stage. After the logging was stopped, it was changed to a forest regeneration site. Nursery was set up here, and the seedlings were planted in the mountains and forests and reforested.

Along the trail, the lake was surrounded by a thick fog, and the mountains and waters seemed to be covered with filters, light in almost black and white tones, like the world in ink paintings. The mallard ducks and mandarin ducks swim by slowly on the lake, both of which cross the water, injecting dynamics into the static picture, finishing the highlights, and breaking the dreamlike illusion.
play area is not exactly a natural landscape, but combines artificial landscapes in nature. The main view of the lake is a red cypress dead tree inserted into the water. At first glance, I thought it was the cypress that grew in the middle of the lake? After careful reading and explanation, it turns out that it is artificial implantation as a landscaping feature, echoing the natural landscape of dead trees standing on the mountains and forests around the lake - the pen dou mountain behind the Mingchi looks like a pen holder, and the lake water is like an inkstone. The dead wood simulates the shape of a pen, as if a brush is inserted into the lake, and ink is stained at any time, and you have to splash ink between the sky and the earth.
There are more man-made landscapes in the park. The most elegant one is the Jingshi Garden, which continues the poetic and picturesque style in the front and creates a landscape of ancient gardens and landscapes. Walking along the bamboo-filled path to the Chinese-style buildings with white walls and gray tiles, the antique courtyard landscaping presents the elegant atmosphere of "there is a garden in the garden, and there is a unique cave". It is divided into six courtyards, including Fuchun Garden, Qushui Garden, Moss Garden, Shiting, Huating, and Citing. The design is based on classics and is very ingenious.
Qushuiting is taken from the " Lanting Collection Preface " by calligrapher Wang Xizhi . The article mentions that "there are mountains and steep mountains and lush forests and bamboos here; there are also clear and turbulent flows, reflecting the left and right, and are guided to the flowing Qushui". Therefore, the path ahead is specially planted on both sides of the path, and a "Liugui Pavilion" is built in the "Qushuiting", and there is a bay of flowing water in front, bringing out the feeling of flowing Qushui.
Fuchun Garden is based on Huang Gongwang's famous painting "Fuchun Mountain Residence", and mainly has two landscapes: "Zen Pavilion" and "Stone Court".
Entering the garden, you will see the small landscaped pool in the courtyard. The pavilion facing the pool is the Zen Pavilion. I came to this corner in a hurry, stopped to calm my mood, and watched the pool garden quietly. The stroke of the picture blew the shadow of the tree and the waves swayed lightly, presenting the artistic conception of "quietness in movement".
Entering the stone courtyard behind the Zen Pavilion, you see a Japanese-style dry landscape , imitating the stone courtyard layout of Kyoto Longan Temple , meditating quietly against the sand and gravel, listening to the sound of rain dripping, and feeling the Zen meaning of "movement in silence". The water and dry water on both sides show the contrast between the flourishing and the withering, the movement and the stillness, which is very interesting.
The fern garden on the other side is a whole artificial fir forest. It has grown very densely now, and each tree is straight and towering. The forest is dark and humid, and ferns grow lushly. In less than two hectares, at least 50 species of ferns are grown.
Walking in the forest in the rainy days is particularly cold. The wet air contains the fragrance of trees and soil, which has a unique charm of the spiritual rain in the empty mountains. The sky was getting darker and darker, and it was probably after the final entry time. There were no other tourists in the entire park. There are mainly two wooden plank roads in the fern garden, and there are various explanations about ferns next to them. One of the trails is divided into two levels, and you can enjoy the forest scenery from different angles. The other trail leads directly to the exit of the park, and you can climb up the steps to the Mingchi Villa in the accommodation area. We seized the last light and walked forward quickly. Finally, we saw the lights in the villa, which was particularly warm.
Next to the small wooden house in Villa is a Mingchi sacred tree. It is 1,500 years old, with a height of 31.6 meters and a bust of 11.62 meters. It looks particularly thick among the surrounding trees. The old tree has experienced thousands of years of storms, and is vigorous and upright under the pale sky, and the silent figure tells the ancient legends in the mountains.
