From 0:00 to 24:00 on October 6, 34 new local confirmed cases were reported in the province (16 in Guangzhou, 3 in Shenzhen, 2 in Zhuhai, 22 in Shaoguan html, 27 in Huizhou html, 22 in Zhanjiang html, 21 in Maoming html, 21 in Yunfu html); new local asymptomatic infections html); 1234 cases (8 cases in Guangzhou, 3 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Shantou, 22 cases in Foshan html, 1 case in Shaoguan, 11 cases in Huizhou, 21 cases in Shanwei html, 23 cases in Dongguan html, 3 cases in Zhongshan, 21 cases in Jiangmen html); there were 7 local asymptomatic infection cases converted to confirmed cases (5 cases in Guangzhou, 1 case in Shenzhen, 21 cases in Qingyuan html). The province added 24 new imported confirmed cases (6 in Guangzhou, 14 in Shenzhen, 2 in Foshan, 1 in Huizhou, 21 in in Zhaoqing); 18 new imported asymptomatic infections (6 in Guangzhou, 6 in Shenzhen, 1 in Zhuhai, 2 in Foshan, and 3 in Zhaoqing); and 3 other imported asymptomatic infections were converted to confirmed cases (3 in Guangzhou).
The province has 27 new discharges (20 imported cases) and currently 441 are in hospital (181 imported cases); 22 new asymptomatic infections released from medical observation (16 imported cases), and 281 asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (126 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on October 6, the province has reported a total of 20,827 positive infections of new coronary pneumonia (13,097 imported from abroad), including 10,353 confirmed cases (5,468 imported from abroad), and 10,474 asymptomatic infections (7,629 imported from abroad).
