Alumni first came to the Banqiao Campus Teaching Internship Boat Base located in Nanjing Yangtze River Sanqiao Wetland Park. Adjacent to the Three Bridges of the Yangtze River, a container ship with a total length of 149.56 meters and a shoreline of 154 meters are clearly reflected in everyone's eyes. This beautiful scenery has become a landmark next to the Wetland Park, winning praise from alumni. On the deck, the alumni felt the agility of the river wind and the broad mind of the Yangtze River, and everyone stopped to take a photo. With the enthusiastic introduction of the school leaders and ship managers, the alumni visited the ship's bridge, cabin, living area, etc. The complete facilities and equipment, beautiful interior decoration, standardized internal management, and profound seaside culture left a deep impression on the alumni.
In the ship conference room, the head of the Banqiao Campus Management Committee Office briefly introduced the planning and construction of the Banqiao Campus Water Teaching Internship Boat Base and Land Practical Teaching Base Park to the alumni. After listening to the introduction, the alumni recalled the past, talked about their original aspirations, and cheered up the future. They warmly discussed the construction and development of the school, and expressed their infinite gratitude and good wishes for their alma mater. Chen Shaoze delivered a passionate speech. He said that he was extremely excited to see the booming and good development momentum of his alma mater, especially he was sincerely pleased and proud of the school's leapfrog development in recent years. The only berthable teaching internship ship in domestic navigation institutions is playing an active role in the cultivation of high-skilled maritime talents in my country.
