In June 2018, suddenly there was a three-day holiday for Dragon Boat Festival. When I didn’t know where to go, I thought of Dongji Island in early summer. The blue ocean, tranquility and desolation of the past, and I don’t know what it has become now.

So when I finally arrived at Miaozihu Island to change the boat, I stood firmly on the deck, blew the wind that was not gentle in the East China Sea.
6 years ago, when I was transferring from the Dongji Row to the Dongfu Row, I had to jump from the big ship to the small boat. Between the two ships were surging waves, and the two ships were close and far away as the waves moved. At that time, my friend and I dragged two suitcases and jumped over.
There are more tourists nowadays, and there is also a thoughtful addition between the two ships. The ship is lined with tanned crew members, grabbing you from this ship and that ship.
It was evening when we arrived at Dongfushan Island. The sky was getting darker. Although it was cloudy, looking around, there was still a faint red sky light appeared on the sea level, the endless sea, the sunset under the sky, the lonely lighthouse, the reefs that were smooth by the waves, and the dilapidated ancient village where I was. If it weren't for the tranquility broken by tourists coming, I would have thought that I would have returned to 6 years ago, this place was still the isolated island far away from the mainland, young people left, and there was no popularity.
When I passed by Dongfu Villa, the boss was repairing the house.
6 years ago, I first set foot here and lived in Dongfu Villa halfway up the mountain. At that time, Dongfu Mountain was unknown. Whenever the Dongfu River docked, a few hostels on the island would come to the pier and hold their own signs to solicit guests. I remember that at that time, the only tourists to the island were me and my classmates, as well as a couple. My friend and I chose Dongfu Villa because it is more convenient to get up early to watch the sunrise.
At that time, the operator of Dongfu Villa was a middle-aged couple. Because there was nothing to eat on the island, we ate the dishes made by the boss’s wife for three meals a day, and the taste was home-cooked. I still remember that at that time, there were no tourists on the island. The boss’s room was big and spacious. Outside the window was the blue sea. The boss and his wife told us that the young people on the island all went to Zhoushan Island, Ningbo , and Hangzhou far away places, where only a few families were still sticking to it.
Nowadays, tourists are flocking to Dongfu Villa, building a platform for drinking tea and vacation, where you can stare at the sea and welcome guests from all over the world. The young people who once left their hometown have also returned one by one.
I didn’t ask about the price of Dongfu Mountain Villa now. The sea view room that I could live in was more than 100 years ago is impossible to appear again.
On the path from the dock, many stalls appeared, ranging from seafood steaks to pancakes. The hawking along the street, along with the bustling noise of tourists, and the sound of the wind and waves, were in the looming sunset.
Everything is very different. Six years, maybe it is the development of the Internet, maybe it is the promotion of the movie, which makes Dongji Island famous in an instant, and with it, the tranquility of the island is broken, the sea water is no longer blue, it is hard to tell whether it is good or bad, but everything has changed.
A good way to stay away from the hustle and bustle is to go far.
The days of Dragon Boat Festival, the weather was gloomy and there was no sunrise. As the noon approached, the sky was slightly clear and the sea water was crystal blue. We passed by the sunrise platform and walked towards the mountains and forests in the east.
The more you go east, the more you will feel the tranquility of many years ago, and you can find your home here.
Because I have to climb the mountain, there are many fewer tourists here. The mottled stone steps, weathered rocks, abandoned stone houses are presented one by one along the unsoft coastline.
Walked through the stone village of Dashuwu, and then went forward, and there was no one in the world. Between the world, only the waves were heard slapping on the reefs, the sound of the wind was whistling, and the vastness was vast.
It seems that you are the only one left in the world.
Miaozihu: Who is your elf

Dongji Island is composed of Miaozi Lake Island, Qingbang Island , Huangxing Island , and Dongfushan Island. And the real Dongji Island is Miaozihu Island.
From Dongfushan Island to Miaozihu Island, there were only two ships a day many years ago, but now, there are basically one every half hour. It's not far and can be reached in half an hour.
Miaozihu Island is still prosperous. After the release of "The Future of Meeting No Life", under the strong publicity of fans and literary youths, youth hostels and homestays sprung up like mushrooms after a rain, occupying the cliffs near the dock on Dongji Town .
Miaozihu Island is similar to Dongfushan Island. There are many seafood stalls of various types on the beach. When attracting customers, they usually say how high their ratings are on Volkswagen or Meituan.
Arrived at the hotel in the evening, and after a short rest, he went to the food stall on the beach to find food. After finding a quarantine barrier, he sat down. The old man warmly greeted us.
The old man in the store is very interesting. Perhaps when he is old, he will especially want to find someone to talk. We eat seafood while listening to him chatting in the sea breeze.
"We have been in the past when the Portuguese ship sank. Our ancestors rescued them. Now there is a memorial hall on the mountain." The old man took a sip of beer and said.
"There is nothing good here. You come from Hangzhou. Hangzhou is good. There is West Lake in Hangzhou. There is nothing here. Hangzhou is good..."
The old man has never left this island in his life. Perhaps for him, this is everything that is plain, and a city like Hangzhou is a distant place that he is fascinated by.
If Dongfushan Island is vast and desolate, then Miaozihu Island still has a certain lazy temperament.
Accompanied by the starry sky and moonlight, the waves and breeze are pillowing. It is the first night to arrive at Miaozi Lake Island.
On the second day, we were going to take a sightseeing bus to patrol the mountain.
The sightseeing bus circles the island for about an hour. If you buy a pass, you can get on and get off at any time. The main attractions along the way include the Dongji Pavilion Observation Deck, the burned house in "The Future of Life", and the statue of Caibogong (Liberty God).
We got off the car at the Dongjiting Viewing Spot and took photos, but because there were too many people, we basically got on the car after taking the photos. The sightseeing bus drove very fast, and I was sitting in the last row, a little afraid of being thrown away by the master. We watched the attractions behind
for a while in the car. The master quickly sent us to the dock and ate a bowl of seafood noodles. We went to the waiting room and planned to return.
At this time the sky clears up, the blue sky and sea water become blue, I sit on the East Pier Rover, far away from the island, and a huge oil tanker appears on the horizontal line in the distance, slowly sailing westward.
suddenly remembered that I went to see the sunrise many years ago. On the deserted and crowded path, there were distant and sad singing. When I approached there, I found that it was an old woman squatting by the sea and singing. We were quite strange at the time. The ship returned on the second day was late and said that it was because a fisherman's body was found. We only realized that the woman was a relative of the victim's fisherman. The fisherman went to sea for many days and had not returned. Although he could not contact him, he knew that it was an accident and could only send his relatives away with singing.
In front of the sea, life is so small, life is your common people, and death is also your elf. The songs that guide the dead sounded, and the lost people were asked to go home.
Three days and two nights, we came and went again in a hurry. Although it was not enough to give people a deeper understanding, we finally saw our current appearance.
