New trends in the industry development
This international seminar on probiotics and health is positioned at three goals. According to reports, representatives from more than 150 scientific research institutes, universities and enterprises at home and abroad participated in the meeting. Several authoritative experts in the field of probiotics have also brought nearly 50 forward-looking wonderful reports.
It is worth noting that the conference released two academic achievements "Scientific Review of the 'Doing and Effective Relationship' of Probiotics" and "Research Status and Industrial Applications of Postbiotics".
Among them, "Scientific Review of the 'Dose-Effect Relationship' of Probiotics" is a research project officially established by the Probiotic Branch of the Chinese Society of Food Science and Technology in 2021, in order to provide technical reference for the dosage indicators and industrial applications of probiotics in my country's standard regulations.
The results published this time mainly revolve around the following six aspects, including: First, the intake of probiotics is a key factor in its health role; Second, accurate counting of live bacteria is an important technical condition for measuring probiotic dose; Third, the recommended intake of probiotics by existing research literature and relevant international standards and regulations is mainly concentrated in 107~1011 CFU/d; Fourth, the healthy dose of probiotics has strain differences, and the higher the amount, the better; Fifth, the clinical dose of probiotics in different types of foods is relatively stable; Sixth, the healthy effect of probiotics does not depend on the number of strain complexes, and should be based on scientific research on inter-strain interactions. During the conference, the founding meeting of the third board of directors of the Probiotic Branch of the Chinese Society of Food Science and Technology was successfully held in Hangzhou. Tong Ling believes that consumers who have experienced the new crown epidemic will pay more attention to a nutritious and healthy diet. At the same time, food consumption has become more rational, and we hope that using a scientific and reasonable nutritional diet can effectively improve nutritional status and enhance resistance. Consumers will pay more attention to a balanced diet, such as whether the intake of protein and nutrients is sufficient, how much active probiotic is supplemented every day, and will study the ingredients and efficacy of dairy products.
