Taini spokesman Huang Jianqiang pointed out that Taini considered the group's business operation model and in order to create the overall interests of the group, after evaluating and negotiating relevant transaction conditions with Changchun Resin, it signed a share purchase and sale agreement with Changchun Resin, and sold Taini's total equity holdings of Xinchang Chemical at a consideration of RMB 1.8187 per share, totaling RMB 2.4 billion. After the acquisition, Xinchang's bisphenol A production capacity is 107,000 tons, and the market is expected to add 8,000 tons of bisphenol A every month.
Taijiu said: Xinchang Chemical has been in a loss state for many years since 2012. Taijiu has previously terminated Xinchang Chemical's listing in accordance with the law to integrate the group's resources.
In addition, Taiwan Milk considers the company's development direction consistent with the future development goals of the enterprise's energy storage-related businesses. Taiwan Milk will also invest in Taiwan Milk's recycling energy limit of 10 billion yuan, and two new production lines are planned to be added. Through the group's Nengyuan Technology Transfer Investment subsidiary Sanyuan Energy, it plans to set up Taiwan's first super battery factory at the former site of the Kaohsiung Xiaogang Paper Factory. It mainly produces high-end high-capacity, high charging and discharging power nickel ternary batteries with a production capacity of 1.8GW, which is equivalent to the long-range battery required to produce 24,000 electric vehicles in a year. Currently, the production capacity of Nengyuan Technology Tainan Factory is 1.5GW/year.
Nengyuan Technology is now Taiwan's largest lithium battery manufacturer and a major supplier of many well-known high-end home appliance brands in Europe and the United States. However, the equipment purchased three years ago is not enough to meet the needs of the next generation of battery processes. Therefore, it is an important decision to set up a new factory in Kaohsiung and increase the capital by 10 billion. Global demand for high-performance batteries has risen rapidly.
