Domestic accident
On February 7, 2018, a road collapse occurred on the east-west road at the bottom of the first ring bridge of Jihua West Road, Chancheng District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. 11 people have been killed, 8 were injured and 1 person was missing.
On April 21, 2018, two dragon boats lost control when passing the dam during a ferry drill, and then overturned, about 60 people fell into the water and 17 were killed.
On June 5, 2018, an explosive explosion occurred at the entrance of the Sishanling Iron Mine Measures in Longxin Mining Company, Benxi City, Liaoning Province, killing 12 people, missing 2 people and injuring 10 people.
At around 21:00 on June 29, 2018, near Zhuting Toll Station in Hengyang Hengdong Section, Hunan, a large passenger bus crossed the middle isolation zone of the road and collided with a tanker driving opposite, killing 18 people and injuring 14 people.
At around 18:30 on July 12, 2018, an enterprise (Yibin Hengda Technology Co., Ltd.) in Yangchun Industrial Park, Jiang'an County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province exploded, killing 19 people and injuring 12 people.
At around 21:10 on August 6, 2018, a coal and gas outburst accident occurred in Zimujia Coal Mine in Guizhou, killing 13 people.
In the early morning of August 25, 2018, a fire broke out at the Beilong Tangquan Leisure Hotel in Harbin, which eventually killed 20 people.
htmlOn October 20, Shandong Longyun Coal Industry Co., Ltd. suffered an impact ground pressure, and 22 operators were trapped underground. One person was rescued and 21 people died.On October 21, 2018, a train derailed at Su-Australia and Malaysia Station in Yilan, Taiwan, causing more than 200 casualties. The initial reason for the accident was speeding during a turn.
At 10:08 on October 28, 2018, on a bus in Wanzhou District, Chongqing, passengers and drivers had a fierce argument and fought each other, causing the vehicle to lose control. After falling into the Yangtze River, all 15 people on the car were killed.
At 19:21 on November 3, 2018, at Lanzhou South Toll Station, Lanhai Expressway, an semi-trailer truck passed through a 17-kilometer-long downhill section. The driver failed to brake due to frequent braking, and collided with a vehicle waiting in line to pay for the payment, killing 15 people.
At 0:41 on November 28, 2018, Zhangjiakou Hebei Shenghua Chemical Co., Ltd. suffered a leak and spread of vinyl chloride gas cabinet, causing an explosion in the unloading vehicle waiting for the two sides of the parked highway, killing 23 and injuring 22.
Foreign accident
In the early morning of May 1, 2018, a fire broke out in a high-rise building of 724-story Sao Paulo, Brazil. The director of the Sao Paulo Public Safety Bureau said that the fire was caused by a short circuit in the plug board.
On the morning of June 25, 2018, a fuel tanker in Pakistan caught fire and exploded after overturning on the road. About 153 people were killed and 100 were injured.
On July 5, 2018, two ships carrying 127 Chinese tourists suddenly encountered a severe storm and capsized on their way back to Phuket, Thailand. The ship carried 101 people, of which 40 of the 87 Chinese tourists were rescued and 47 were killed.
On July 23, 2018, a forest fire broke out in Greece, Greece, western Athens, the capital, killing 91 people and missing 25 people.
On the evening of September 2, 2018, a serious fire broke out in Brazil National Museum , and the main building of the museum was seriously damaged. Unfortunately, only 10% of the 20 million collections were preserved, including meteorites, ores and pottery.
On the afternoon of September 20, 2018, a shipwreck occurred in Mwanza Province, northwestern Tanzania. A ferry carrying more than 400 passengers capsized and sunk on Lake Victoria , killing 209 people.
On the evening of October 19, 2018, a train crash occurred near Amritsar City, India, killing 61 people and injuring more than 70 people.
On November 8, 2018, three wildfires "Kamp", "Wolsey" and " Hill " were ignited in the north and south of , California, United States, causing a total of 91 deaths and about 300 lost contact. The "Kamp" wildfire in the north has become the most casualty fire in California's history. At least 85 people died and 249 were missing, and the overburden area exceeded 620 square kilometers.
