This morning (March 12), as one of the sub-venues for the construction of the demonstration section of the Yellow River along the Yellow River and the spring voluntary tree planting activities in the province, the construction of the Baili Yellow River Ecological Corridor in the city was held on the bank of the Yellow River in Fengzuo Village, the city's urban-rural integration demonstration zone.
Municipal Party Committee Secretary Liu Nanchang announced the start of the event, and city leaders An Wei, Wang Zaiwen, Wang Jianxun, Zhao Yuhui, Jia Shujun, Fan Fuzhong, Niu Lanying, Wang Zhenqing, Zhang Songlin, Guo Hongxun and others participated in the event.
After video linking with the main venues in the province, Liu Nanchang and others worked with shovels to plant white pine and maple trees. At the
event site, a large number of volunteers wearing red vests helped the seedlings and cultivated soil to beautify their homes. It is understood that more than 1,300 people from all municipal units and the municipal urban-rural integration demonstration zone participated in this voluntary tree planting activity, planting 15,000 seedlings such as white pine, large-leaf privet , thaliana , pine tree , pineapple, and crape myrtle, with an area of more than 500 mu.
