It is reported that the termination of this transaction may have a certain impact on Yingteng Education's future operating performance. In 2018, China Hi-Tech generated goodwill of approximately RMB 168 million in the consolidated balance sheet due to the acquisition of 51% of Yingteng Education's shares. According to the provisions of the "Enterprise Accounting Standards", goodwill is not amortized, but impairment testing is required at the end of the next year in the future. If Yingteng Education’s future operating conditions forecast fail to meet expectations, there will be a risk of goodwill impairment and will have a significant adverse impact on the company’s performance in that year.
